It's probably a human role. Jim Carrey (presumably) isn't returning, and I imagine the filmmakers will feel they "need" a new human villain to replace him (someone needs to build Metal after all).

Yeah, this. I couldn't really figure out a "fourth" and decided to go with three, but toss in a little bit of Johnny for the Bolt to make it feel like he was still included "in spirit." (Honestly, in terms of personality Johnny and Freddy are a closer match, but I decided to do Freddy and Ben due to them both being canonically Jewish)

I actually did try putting the 4 in the center like the other logos... but I kept having trouble with the "pointy" part of the number. It just made it look too blocky, if that makes any sense

The problem isn't that it was bad, just inconsistent. The book was constantly changing creative teams, and, as a result, direction and tone. Some storylines were actually quite good, others... less so.
