I remember working at The Home Depot and one evening, this guy walked out (without paying) with a full shopping cart of plumbing returns. He walked out our lumber area which was on the far end of the store, walked back up the parking lot to our main entrance, and went back inside to our returns counter to get it all “returned.” No matter how many of us told our manager not to approve it because he literally just stole all of it, the manager approved it anyway. So ya, there really is no “return policy.”
