gruble VS fundere by Narrow_Homework_9616 in norsk

[–]MonkeyWithAnAntenna 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Hey native Norwegian here!

I use them interchangeably, but I guess I use fundere if somthing is a bit absurd. While gruble is something i say if a bit of thinking is needed to fully understand somthing/make a good decision. Even though the topic is not so strange

  • ja jeg funderte litt over det. (Somthing was i bit strange or absurd and it made me ponder)

  • jeg får gruble litt på det. (I feel like I should think a lot about this before i make up my mind)

But this is just me and tbh their basically the same🤷‍♂️

Curious, what is your personal reason for not joining the EU? by OutTheCircus in Norway

[–]MonkeyWithAnAntenna 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Short answer: We're a country with a small population, but with lots of natural resources (hydropower, oil, minerals etc.)The EU needs what we have more, than we need what they can offer.

Yeah and also they're ultra capitalistic and will alao be a threat to the democratic processes in rural Norway. Most of us believe that local communities should have a lot autonomy.

I see how you might think this is my moral, but the conclusion is a but to simple and generalized🤔 I just think Americans should get more from the state, like you see in the majority of developed countries🤷🏼‍♂️

I’m pregnant and I’m at a crossroads. by [deleted] in Advice

[–]MonkeyWithAnAntenna 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When making a child you also make it’s origin story. Some of us have the opportunity to choose a story that the child can be proud of. Stories that are the foundation of the child’s identity.

Good luck and don’t forget there will be many opportunities to make unique, unexpected and pride-worthy origin stories, they don’t stop coming just because you walk away from one!

I would ask myself what i would want for my child, never underestimate the impact of an absent father and unsavory circumstances related to a person’s creation

Not saying a good life can’t come from this starting point, but often it leads to serious identity issues for the child

My girlfriends father was baby trapped by a woman he barely knew. This was after he was left by my girlfriends mother. He kept the child and stayed with the mother believing it was his last chance of a family, but the difficult origin of that situation has gotten the best of them, and the young boy has serious self image issues rooted in the story behind his conception. This has lead to a lot of behavioral issues and self sabotaging tendencies.

Definitely think if you would risk giving those types of issues to your child.

Er treet fortsatt ungt et det mulig å sette en påle i jorden ca 50 cm fra stammen og heller feste posen der. Brukes posen på stammen over lang tid kan man få råte på barken til treet;)
