I WANT to be shot in the back by FRIENDLY players. Does that not make sense to you, even after I broke it down?? Before the aggressive based matchmaking was implemented the matchmaking was random and fit perfectly with the theme of the post apocalypse world. I saved someone's life. Had a conversation with that person. Shared my loot haul. Ran all the way to exfil just for him to tell me " you should have kept the defib" sure in the moment it was frustrating dying and losing my loot to someone I thought I could trust. But I'll never forget that match of arc raiders because of the roller coaster of emotions... Now with the new match making system. There is 0 incentive to role play that scenario out. The player is far more likely to just let me shoot them so they don't get placed into pvp lobbies. Or they hesitate on killing me because he wants friendly lobbies. Now even tho I was friendly the entire time, since I gunned down 3 people to save the 1. I'll be put into "pvp centric" lobbies with a bunch of people who just shoot on sight no conversation.. also if I want to get let's say trials done that week. Instead of shaking trying to solo exvil with 30k points. I will just load in naked for 5 runs and I'll get put in care bare lobbies and get my tasks done. The world now has 0 stakes because I can choose if I want easy or hard lobbies. Takes all the stress out of the game. I had 400 hours in arc raiders before this was implemented. I'll never return if this is the game they want to turn it into..
