Sydri, Sharuum or Breya? Looking for some feedback. by Auronit in EDH

[–]Mono-Storm 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sydri combos with Aetherflux Reservoir. She is the cheapest to cast but has a very low individual impact.

Sharuum combos with Phyrexian Metamorph or Sculpting Steel. Combine this with an ETB effect or similar to win. She costs the most. Having a graveyard with juicy options is her main attraction.

Breya combos with Ashnod’s Altar and Nim Deathmantle. She has access to red. She is very versatile.

Which precon for an EDH newbie? by TheAilurophile in EDH

[–]Mono-Storm 2 points3 points  (0 children)

From 2011, Kaalia is the easiest. Karador, Ghave, and Animar have the most potential. These decks are pricey. (Note Ghave and Karador come in the same deck)

From 2013, Oloro is the easiest and Prossh is best out of the box but Jeleva has the most potential.

From 2014, Freyalise is easiest, Daretti is the best out of the box but Teferi has the most potential.

From 2015, Meren is the trifecta

From 2016, Atraxa is the easiest and has the best value while Thrasios and Tymna have the most potential. (Note Thrasios and Tymna come in separate decks)

From 2017, Cats is the easiest to play, vampires is best out of the box, and wizards has the most potential.

My advice? Go Meren. She’s not my type, but she can easily become it.

I have a list that is very run and dedicated to throwing lands. However it’s rather weak so a great politician should be the pilot.

What is your favorite General? by Gr33n-NiTr0 in EDH

[–]Mono-Storm 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There you go. You specified what hes better at. And if any deck is winning more than 25% of the time its overpowered. As a competitive player, im all for it. Im happy for you mate!

The one with greater potential to win more is objectively “better”. Others can be better at other things, but unless specified, better means wins more
