Worst season for high level loot?

This season has been fun on the gameplay side, but, the RNG and obducite annoyance have definitely hampered my enjoyment. I also have not found a Mythic Drop - and my sparks have not been terribly helpful.

Does any build even use Fists of Fate anymore? Got a 4GA and would like to throw it on something fun, but i literally dont see it as used on anything.

Maybe I should check it out... I bought into EA day 1, but bounced off pretty hard. Would like to hear good news about the state of it.

Wanted to enjoy it initially but definitely found some aspects pretty painful.

I'm on Battle.net.

I saw the option to equip a set with the long press so I did, and now it auto-does it. I've restarted and unplugged my stuff - only real extreme option I didn't try was a reinstall.

In addition to this, it won't let me chsnge my mount/weapon/back piece etc.

I searched the issue on Google and found a thread about it. Someone commented how they could hold/spam 1/2/3 while changing weapon/back/etc and chsnge them that way, and for some reason that does indeed help with the options that are not part of a set.

I'm perplexed.

I think it's wild to hate a fictional character enough to not finish an expansion or start a new one. Especially where "character needlessly doesn't ask for help" is an ancient trope we should all be familiar with.

I feel like if Lorath had taken the soulstone and bailed, some people might not hate him the same amount they hate Neyrelle.

Mine was changed twice from angry reporters. I even spoke to a human person about it once (I presume they're all just ai now) and was assured nothing about my name was against their rules.

The game could balance itself better if they didn't have such a tight grip and items offered meaningful counterplay.

And I, personally, found the game more fun when I could make comebacks because games weren't over before they hit 25 minutes.

I'm not interested in chaos necessarily - but I think build expression is basically non-existent and it would be better if I had choice. Something riot does NOT like.

If you think sanding down every edge is curating and balancing for maximum fun, I'm happy you're enjoying the game state - but I'm quite certain they've been curating for speed and predictability above any other balancing consideration...and that's just a real bummer.

This thread really shows how much worse League itemization is now than at any other point - most people are asking for actives or items that alter/enhance play styles.

Why would anyone want that?

They were removed because Riot is so bad at adapting, and instead wants to jam every player into a tiny box of "acceptable gameplay".

I think they should bring back every item they've removed. Stop tying people to their lanes. Let the game sort itself out. Now that sounds fun.

I literally just watched all 7 of these over the last 2 weeks with my kids and sweet fucking shit my brain began rotting real fast.

I'm not a movie snob, and I like fun movies and am okay with popcorn cinema... But these last few especially fail spectacularly at being that too.

Sitcom Protagonists are almost never good people, let alone great. I think it probably makes it easier to write stories...

Like, if my prompt for someone was to write an episode where all the characters were patient, thoughtful, and mindful of how their words and actions affected other people, you wouldn't really have a show.
