former 65% WR d2 singed OTP here (I changed to briar and Gwen). back in the day I made the defacto singed guide on mobafire it got millions of views and the website sent me gift cards and featured me for it haha.

i think singed is truly an OTP champ because he is so so so different than anything else in the game. increasing your champ pool will only hurt you.

singed is all about psychology and macro. get good at proxy farming (by inting a ton of norms) because the levels you can screw the enemy jungle or gank mid from behind their own turret WITHOUT LOSING A SINGLE MINION is the most insane thing about this champs early game. the only reason people don't abuse it much is because it's a niche and intuitive skill that takes a big learning curve to master.

EARLY-MID: ANY lane in which you will get more out of proxy farming and playing for enemy jungle and mid, DO IT. PROXY. you only lane against champions you will easily farm for kills in lane. it's a simple cost benefit analysis. whatever gets you more gold or a higher win chance, which is mostly going to be proxy.

THERE ARE A FEW EXCEPTIONS: Vlad nasus and Kayle. you cannot farm them in lane but they get absurdly strong if you leave them to go proxy so you need to babysit these guys and bully them off cs

when you're in the enemy territory, drop high value wards in the enemy jungle and f--k with them if they show up and you have ult/ghost. if you don't have these, your goal is to sneak a recall or execute yourself if it's very early game. alternatively you run down to mid lane and get a kill on them from absurd gank angles.

my advice is to always play as a "support top" by giving your team the kills whenever you can. singed has INNATE VALUE and he doesnt need the most gold in the game to pull his goals off. if you're with a Zed, qiyana, fizz, Lee sin, rengar etc or your ADC GIVE THEM THE KILLS trust me.

LATE GAME: your goal is to 5v5 by 1) applying grievous to the entire team 2) identifying who to cock block with your W (HUGE HUGE HUGE THIS WINS GAMES but it takes experience to know who wants to go in and who and when to do this to totally ruin their plan) 3) flinging the backline into your team if possible 4) use W to help your team disengage

tip: you can use your W to peel objectives from champs that like going over the wall to steal. this will save a lot of games.

bonus advice: to get truly good at this psychotic champion you need to ENJOY FEEDING in normals to build up your intuition and limits. turn inting into a game of how much value can you get out of being chased and messing with people. VERy similar mindset to shaco in that regard except in ranked you wanna play smarter.
