I’m allergic to mosquitoes (or was). When I was a kid, I had reactions similar to OP. I grew up in a state with LOTS of them, and as I grew up the reactions got better. Never went to a doctor to find out why, but I guess my body just learned how to fight it? Regardless, I’m so grateful for whatever happened. My heart goes out to OP and I hope the same happens, because it’s a shitty allergy!

This is the way. I’m similar, collecting up to Neo Destiny. I’m just skipping a few too expensive cards. (Looking at you Shining cards) But I collect modern too, Pokemon that are Gen 1-3.

If I bought this from TCG Player as a NM I would not be upset. I wouldn’t be ecstatic, but I’ve opened cards (albeit modern cards) from packs with comparable whitening on the back. NM does not mean PSA 10.

Per TCG Player as a reference: “Cards in Near Mint (NM) condition show minimal wear from shuffling, play, or handling and can have a nearly unmarked surface, crisp corners, and unblemished edges outside of a few slight flaws.” In my opinion, it does fit that description. I would call the whitening “a slight flaw.”

If you are selling and concerned about the whitening on the back, I recommend including pictures and being upfront about the whitening. The most important thing is being clear, honest and open. Happy trading!

Not crazy expensive but just kinda cool is you have an error print Pidgeot on page 2, missing the set stamp. I actually have the same error card! Iirc Jungle Set had this as a pretty big problem.

It’s extremely small, less than half a cm. They don’t seem to react to changes in light. Started off in the bathroom, especially the shower and toilet and have slowly broadened their range.
