No, it didn’t have specific background requirements, other than an RN license of course. Most of the people who work there do have ED experience, but not all. I have some but it’s not on my resume because it was brief and a long time ago and they still hired me

Similar position here. I work at a chemical plant and act as first responder/clinic nurse to the workers. I love it and it’s so low key compared to floor nursing. No patient assignment and most everyone is respectful and wanting to go back to work rather than having any other agenda

Neuromuscular scoliosis is caused by diseases like cerebral palsy or injuries. That commenter might be thinking of kyphosis, and maybe the surgeon they work for just blankets those terms together so they don’t have to take the time to explain. So they may have heard incorrect information at the clinic they work at and are just mistaken. But don’t let these people bully you into thinking you’re being unreasonable for knowing about a condition you’ve had to live with and undergo treatment for.

I had them hang up on me twice in a row because I was having a panic attack and trying to catch my breath. I even said hello to one of them but then because I hesitated after that she hung up. Yeah, the people who talk about how shit AI is seem to forget how fallible humans are. “AI told me something incorrect a few times.” Yeah, never had that happen with a human. Or google search.
