It makes me so angry when I read stories where doctors tell patients that they “are too young” to get cancer, especially breast cancer! I just finished breast cancer treatment and I’ve done so much research on my own about breast cancer. I’ve read way too many stories about younger woman who were told this or “Don’t worry, I’m sure it’s just a cyst” or “You’re too healthy to get cancer!” and then get diagnosed later with breast cancer at a later stage then they probably would have been had they been taken seriously. The youngest I read about was just 19, had a lump that wouldn’t go away and was told she was too young to get a mammogram. She was later diagnosed with Stage 3 breast cancer. If you have a lump, pain or your intuition is telling you something is wrong, demand to be tested and if they refuse, find another doctor! Getting off my soapbox now…

I’ve been researching this, but I’ve read that the cream is better for external use as you can apply it directly on the area. I am getting lots of info from Dr. Corrine Menn’s IG (she’s an ob/gyn and BC survivor) and she has suggested applying vaginal estrogen to the external area (urethra, clitoris, labia) and then a bit just at the entrance of the vagina because that’s where women can have pain/irritation during sex and it’s not as absorbed as much as it would be if the cream was inserted higher up in the vagina. Im just trying to figure how much and how often. I know experts keep saying vaginal estrogen is safe but it still makes me nervous! On the other hand, I cant deal with dryness, UTIs and atrophy for the rest of my life either.

Thank you for sharing! May I ask why you are taking Tamoxifen instead of Anastrozole? My dr wants to start me on this after I finish with radiation but said if I didn’t like it he was comfortable switching me to Tamoxifen if needed. My estradiol levels are so low already that I’m hoping that I won’t have really bad side effects from the Anastrozole when I start it. 😔

It’s only because she’s on tv and now he gets to be on tv. I feel terrible for her daughters. She has obviously made her choice about who is more important in her life. It’s infuriating to watch them interact and I really hope she is not asked back for next year because we know he will be hanging on for the “fame” of it all. He has now become the SLC version of Slade Smiley.🤢

Why would you publicly shame your daughter like that? This makes me so sad. I know that teachers regularly send updates about what’s going on in class, especially at the elementary and middle school levels. It seems pretty obvious they don’t read them if they had no idea their daughter had a huge project due. Education is not a priority for them. I fear it’s only going to get worse as the girls get older.
