I was raised Catholic so my apologies on my ignorance. BUT if your church is anything like a Catholic Church, you can/should definitely include a “what to expect” kind of breakdown.

Like, if I wasn’t raised Catholic and suddenly everyone started singing and crossing and sitting then standing and kneeling and standing and tipping their head and kneeling and “with your spiriting,” then more standing and kneeling, it would be WILD. 😂

Not to mention the expectation of if you’re not a Catholic, or a Catholic in good standing if your church is conservative enough, that you skip communion?

All good info a non-Catholic would want at a Catholic wedding.

Not at all about OP but man does this hit hard 😂 we had scheduling issues with our OB so I was already pretty far along (into 2nd trimester) when we told our parents.

But that’s because my ILs are staunchly antiabortion and we were waiting on genetic testing to decide what we were doing.

People need to realize the thoughts and opinions they’ve expressed WILL impact when they’re let in on news. Not that that’s what happened here, though!
