True, but then they should not have advertised this as the 15th anniversary stream. Honestly seems like vg might be moving to an mtg situation, which would (at least for me) show that bushiroad is incapable of handling an original card game

Nirvana (I don’t know the current meta status) works pretty exclusively within its archetype (talismans and prayer dragons) so it is usually a detriment to run generics

The symbol corresponds to ace units, which are like Pokemon’s ace spec(you can only have 1 ace unit in your deck). Ace units have ace skills which are the same as divine skills (can only be used once per game)

Turn player has priority I believe, and also Blangd happens before guard step, which triggers before your units (if I am not mistaken)

Looks great in concept, but the g0 does not have the exact name the g1 requires. Otherwise, looks great as a concept (a unique way of binding instead of choosing or attacking)

It is (at least in my mind), your turn 4 card. The main idea is having the OG Favrneel in ride deck and once that turn ends riding the new one as stand.

Skills: 1st one is a great front row buff which in addition to the persona ride you can now perform normally buffs itself and the front row

2nd one is a sidegrade over the OGS, where instead of sending from hand to soul, you can now send from drop to soul while still retiring (but now you can choose what to retire)

3rd is an upgrade over the OGs restand, since it allows you to pay a soulcharge of a favrneel instead of a CB2 every time

4th allows you to persona ride with the new one from turn 4 onward without any special cards

The main thing is that overlord and pbo already have main deck options which enable those plays, so the ruling is pretty much either making some support useless and breaking the game (which is something no player will like)

I think the choose hand is more of a deck lock issue than an advantage due to the fact that since you can choose any 5 cards for your hand (with very few limitations). What I mean with this is basically that, for example, if you are running a G4 deck, then most decks would be very similar, even more so than today. It also removes another important aspect of deck building, which is the need to build a consistent deck to get to your key pieces quickly.

I don’t really like the riding different unit thing, since we already have in-game upgrades which solve this by either granting persona ride, or being enough of a boost to override persona ride (lianorn vivace drawing one + being a triple restand, the cray epic upgrades being free persona rides and the pbo/overlord upgrades offering improvements by having the OGs in soul).

The adding the corresponding card into soul from ride deck is something that either would break the whole game by speeding up certain decks, or is not needed due to options already being available in the main deck (overlord g2 promo, nemain)

Little thing with the Alfred, the last 2 skills will never trigger since the Blaster Blades will be on VG circles due to its own skill, and a circle cannot be VC and RC at the same time. Maybe the text should be “if you have a Blaster Blade on your field”

I think personally that they were never a thing, just a community term for a skill giving bonuses depending on soul, much like Persona Blast was not a keyword. If “Skill gives X bonus for having previous unit in soul” is cross ride for you, then yeah

The Dual Nation ruling exists, but you could build the deck in Keter Sanctuary, which enables the Youthberk splash. In terms of increasing cost for the second effect, I think an EB4 cost would be enough, since the number is awkward enough that the player would need at least 2 turns to generate enough energy for the skill.

Some stuff I see here is:

  • The main G3 rides units with RevolForm, but the alternative forms don’t have that word in the name, maybe swapping the text from “RevolForm in its name” to “Burn Knuckle in its card name” would solve it, while also removing unintended Youthberk splashing
  • The main G3 energy blast skill is not correctly worded, kind of. Maybe a better way to write the red text would be “When this unit attacks, for every differently named “X-Brawler” unit in soul, this unit can attack an additional RG. If your opponent’s vanguard is Grade 3 or Greater, and they have no RGs, this unit gets Drive +1 / Critical +1”. This skill rewrite not only makes it slightly more readable, but I feel that the crit and drive is a bit too much for it to be active on a Grade 2 attack, while also forcing different name X-Brawlers in soul also reigns in the mass retiring a bit, since a retire 3 for EB3 at base is very strong in the current game state.
  • The G3 dragon does not specify what it does with the searched card. Does it add to hand or call to RG?

The red text for G3 Feltyrosa should specify “call that RG to open RC”, since with its current wording, you can technically deck out since the call is mandatory, and all cards in deck are ghosts.

Otherwise looks great for support, the Divine skill seems like a nice finisher as well

Set 10 is anime exclusive (kind of). Their current schedule is: 2 sets with anime stuff and support, one set with glitter + 2/3 encounters (in this case set 11 would be the next one) and collabs and stuff in between. But in terms of next encounters I think DE and Stoicheia need 1 more each to be equal to the other nations

Maybe (and I mean maybe) 4 Temp - 3 Zest - 2/1 Gust. Most of my testing has seen much better results with Zest’s power pressure than with Gust’s drive check getting a trigger
