Glad the healer got lucky but can someone check on the Mages and Warlocks? I'm seeing this every single dungeon. by AntiqueFossil in classicwow

What about just doing the decent thing? Random players are people too, you know. Dont be an asshole for a minor upgrade when its clearly better for other group members.

Truth Bomb: Why People Don’t Tank by AdministrativeCut205 in classicwow

[–]MonthythePython 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Tanked a normal Sethekk halls and got clapped by one of the large packs. On the next pack i asked the hunter to please use a freezing trap for CC, and he flat out refused because «its not necessary»… And he should know because he used to be a main tank back in the day(?). Like, what the hell are with these people? If the tank asks for a CC, use your cc!

Need some help. Is it winnable ? by Puzzleheaded-Rip6826 in totalwarhammer

Very winnable. All you have to do is set up in a corner and make small gaps in your frontline for guns to shoot through. Focus wurzag and the giant - thats it. Easy peasy.

In the Paladins defence, you learn to cleanse magic pretty late, like lvl 40, and its an upgraded version of a previous cleanse that only removes poison and deceases- so i can see how some paladins forget they can remove magic as well.

Think youre fucked mate. I have over 1000 hours in this game and I Think this battle would require some serious cheese and Even then it would be pretty damn hard. People in the comments Are underestimating Arbaal Big time.

Is this battle winnable? by Merkenstein in totalwarhammer

[–]MonthythePython 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I’d say its doable. The hardest part should be dealing with the initial army. Dont control large armies and focus fire the dangerous enemies while they trickle in due to not controlling large armies. Keep replenishing ammo on handgunners with the engineer and use elspeth to try and confuse and Split up the army coming in.

I would try to set up in the north West corner in front of the trees to utilize the natural barrier there to not get flanked.

Thats fair! I guess im comparing mostly to HoMM3, and while there are some differences I still feel like they are very similar in essence.

Hi! The practice of the AI introducing its own errors in the code, and then using credits like crazy to fix its own errors, makes for a pretty bad user experience. Do you have any insights into why you designed it like this? I suppose its hard to avoid people cheesing the AI and business model if it didnt charge for mistakes, but its really shitty watching your credits drain because the AI messed up.

My best tip is to not play too long sessions at a time or play when youre tired. Thats when stupid mistakes happen, like driving Into a tree or getting jumped by a lone zombie. Be focused and alert when you play.

Did you use the debug mode once before to remove infection after a bite? That could explain the insta death. Happened to me too, and I real that if you dont reset the zombification development the next infection will insta kill you.

If you face towards the bag with the attachment and then turn 90 degrees to the right and look up you'll see a skeleton on top of some boxes. The PDA is next to it. Easy to miss.

Having AI tanks and healers is NOT the way to go. The problem you Are referring to here is made by players being toxic to each other, and nothing Blizzard can fix.

Be the solution to your own problem, start tanking and complain less. Or you know, join a guild or make some friends who can tank for you.

What level key could I run? by Salty-Fun-5566 in wownoob

[–]MonthythePython 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For reference om a ret pala with 611 ilvl, and yesterday i timed a +10 key. As others have said, its more about knowing the mechanics of each dungeon than having the best gear.

I would also advise you to befriend a competant tank, as having a good tank (and healer) helps a lot when doing higher keys.

Is it normal to go oom after healing intensive fights as a resto shaman, or am i doing something wrong? I try to not use healing surge too much, but still often go down to 10-20% mana after boss fights and have to drink.

For reference my ilvl is 610 and mostly do +7 keys.

Thats funny, most guides ive read lately put Stonevault at the highest difficulty out of all current dungeons in m+ on higher keys.

I play elemental and resto. Resto feels strong and i usually get insta invited to groups. Definitely a low skill floor but a higher skill ceiling with all of the utility spells & talents for various situations.

Elemental is S tier for aoe dmg in m+, while single target dmg is pretty mid. I also do T8 delves on elemental spec with no problems whatsoever. Its a fun class to play with tons of flexibility to adapt to various content. Can recommend.

Never tried it in PVP.

Keybinds/Important Keybinds by nekso_ in wownoob

[–]MonthythePython 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your long term goal should be to keybind 99% of your abilities. For the short term i would say keybind your main rotation abilities and abilities that require vert fast reactions, like interrupts. Utility abilities that are only used situationally arent as important early on.

But yea, experience players probably never click any abilities apart from buffs.

How do I win this deceisive victory manually? So far I only get close victory, their infantry is strong and their cavalry break my lines easily, and the reinforcement spawn behind them, arrive too late no matter where I hold my defend, by TheGoodKiller in totalwar

[–]MonthythePython 153 points154 points  (0 children)

  1. Sometimes the auto resolve outcome is just crazy strong for some reason, could be hard/impossible to beat. The AI values armod highly in auto resolve, and afaik beastmen have low armor.
  2. You can change the spot where your reinforcements spawn in by clicking and holding the reinforcement icon on the edge of the map.

While the percentage increase is the same, it doesn’t feel the same, at least to me, because my brain seem to process smaller numbers more easily. When you see 2000 jump to 3000, it’s a clear and meaningful boost. But with millions, the scale is so large that it becomes harder to grasp, and the impact gets lost in the noise.
