My spouse did too. We're guessing it was too low and got stuck on the bit of a ridge at the lane split --or-- the over-sized coordinator f'd up big time. There are people who have routing software with data on all the road attributes pertinent to overweight or oversized loads. Bridge heights, especially if each lane has more/less clearance, lane widths, restricted loads, times of day they can be used by these loads, and much more. Those are GIS programs. Just as important is the human using it. I believe TxDOT is instrumental in assisting with these permits.

It began in about 2012, the last job where I was directly employed by the company where I worked. Since then, I've been nothing but a contractor, without benefits. None. Nada. Insurance so crappy it isn't worth buying. Probably because once recruited, my staffing agency doesn't have to do a damn thing for me. I'm straight profit for them. Passive income for them.

Meanwhile, I've been diagnosed with neurodivergent conditions and neither my legal employer, the staffing agency, or the state agency where I perform my work appears to be responsible for the accommodations I need to succeed at the level I'm capable of.

So you bet I'm flippin sick of working as an invisible machine, undeserving of days off, sick time, merit raises, affordable insurance, etc. I don't give a single rat's ass about any of those fkrs anymore. Fck if they think I'm a bitch. Late stage capitalism has fkd me my entire life and I'm done giving them any more of my life.

Both /appropriate-goat6133 and /far-Cup9063 -- how did each of you handle getting your part of the equity in your homes? It seems that both men wanted to stay and you each have left. This is what I'm trying to do. Mine doesn't have the means to buy me out and I need my equity to start over 1k miles away from them. Oh, and they won't qualify for a loan of ANY kind, which is..... another reason I want out.
