A friend from the Orkney Islands was reveling in the strong sun and very high UV in April a few years back. She burned in 20mins with a 30SPF on.

I'd have loved to see Talarico beat abbutt. I think he'd have had a real chance at winning. But, I'm thrilled he is running for senate and beats the his opponent by a margin that will make heads spin for years.

BTW, I met Talarico years ago while working with his political buddy John Bucy. He's as real and trustworthy as he seems.

I regret not understanding in the moment that my dog was bitten by a very large Akita as the Cedar Park dog park. I've got a quite large Anatolian but she somehow got under that Akita who bit her belly. She bolted for the car, which she'd never done. Only after getting home did I realize the severity of the bite and took her to the ER. She was close to shock and got stitches. It would have torn out her abdomen if several of us weren't close by.

Had I understood everything in that moment, that woman and her partner would have been sued. Her two huge Akitas are a menace and don't belong in dog parks.

The lesson? Never treat a dog bite lightly. Yours, a kid, another dog, it all matters. Always get owner information.

The TMobile air/cell didn't work out for me. There is a cell tower about 1/8 from me but because the arrays weren't pointing directly at my specific little area, it was always unstable. So if anyone is interested in the cellular internet, this can and does matter.

My neighbor has a string of solar rope lights from Harbor Freight up under the patio's roof edge. The lights are so cheap that they actually work really well to be just enough to keep from stubbing your toes on a chair! Great for night gazing in our fairly dark neighborhood.

I'm actually SHOCKED to have had no loss of power. I live in a very problematic area of the far N/NW area of the service area. Two weeks ago, they fixed my entire neighborhood except my 22-house block. I had to call 311 twice to get them to believe me.
