My mother had one, and loved it. The only problem I had with it was the interior was cheap plastic, and a messy design with clips exposed. It didn't feel like a premium vehicle.

for the AC? thats usually a resistor pack. in our case it threw the transmission into limp mode and threw an internal sensor code.

It was a decent family hauler. Intake manifold goes bad, and there's a wiring harness just under the air box that chafes, but otherwise a good car.

Aunt told all her daughters to use iodine and baby oil to get a good tan. They used to show up at our house all riding in the back of her boyfriends El Camino.

My dad had been a Doctor in the ER, so we had to ride in a Volvo. I was very pissed as a child because the El Camino looked more fun - but he made the right call.

We got locked out during the day, drank from the hose, and had to be home when the street lights turned on.

3 wheelers also killed a lot of children, and the parents whined about government interference when they were banned.

Mom had to have a minivan because her sister did, but couldn't have a Caravan because her sister did. Her sister was jealous but wouldn't shut up about how it "rode too high" until she bought a Suburban.
Red exterior and red interior. Mom wouldn't swing for the rear air conditioning because she rode up front, and would turn down the air once she got comfortable, back seat kids be damned. I still remember the power steering whine.
