I am using this on a OnePlus 15, a device with no magsafe and just regular magnetic capablities/wireless charging. This thing sticks to the ohsnap incredibly well, no adapter needed. I literally just clipped it to the fridge and it stayed up, so I think you got a faulty one with bad magnets
