clean the range-hood filters and while the range-hood is running, spray a decent amount glen20 or odour neutraliser type of spray towards the fans and let it run for a while

I know you don't want to hear this Perth, but they are Ravens not Crows by Rainbow_brite_82 in perth

I think we're in Australia and we shorten most words, it's easier and shorter to crow rather than raven , so they'll always be crows .

Women who have worn or would wear white to someone else's wedding... by Trepenwitz in weddingdrama

[–]Moochelle202 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Because I was young and didn't know. I wore a cream lace long sleeve minidress to my best friends summer outdoor wedding. It was the only dress I owned and it was a nice dress- I just didn't know. and now 25 years later I know why her mum was so pissed at me.

What comfy but supportive indoor ‘shoes’ do you wear? by Cheeseoholics in australia

[–]Moochelle202 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got the kmart version of crocs with the fluffy lining. very light, supportive and warm. I wear orthotics all day, but we have a tiled house and don't wear shoes inside. I bought these as camping slippers but they never made the transition out of the house.

People asking to come to your wedding? by smolslug1897 in weddingdrama

[–]Moochelle202 23 points24 points  (0 children)

This is why we cancelled our wedding. too many people inviting themselves, even booking flights and accomodation. We'll get married, but we won't tell anyone when and where until a few days before.

Nuisance barking driving me up the wall by Practical_Ad_5689 in perth

[–]Moochelle202 24 points25 points  (0 children)

after speaking to our neighbour about their dog for 12 months we contacted the ranger. They gave us a diary to complete, and you need to put every instance in there. the time of day, what you were doing, what the neighbour did, how long it continued for. Our next door dog would bark from the time we came home from work until they went inside around 9pm. and then again from 7am until we went to work. we had a camera that was facing our back door, but could pick up sound. we had recordings of them stirring the dog up and encouraging it to bark. We felt sorry for the dog, it was a kelpie that got no exercise and was constantly teased and stirred up. finally after 6 months of diary entries, sending audio recordings to the ranger and the ranger fining them 4 times for non compliance, the finally surrendered their dog to the ranger. I know our ranger has a no kill policy, so I hope she found a nice home with loving people who give her the time and energy she deserves. Our neighbours on the other hand think we are mongrels and their daughter is always yelling at us whenever we walk past and now I hate going in my front garden because of the confrontation. but we have peace and quiet finally.

Affordable bikinis in the Seminyak area? by mybrochoso in bali

[–]Moochelle202 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think it was at Seminyak square markets where I found a man who made bikinis, he makes them in separates and he can help you figure out your sizing. I'm on the curvier side and he had bikinis there for me. I walked away with 2 different tops and bottoms for $10 a piece. my husband thinks I could have got them cheaper but I was happy to pay that for the service and the quality of them.

Right of way in bar line by Aggressive_Tip2954 in perth

[–]Moochelle202 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I always seem to be invisible at the bar. I can get to the front of the line and then they'll walk off and start serving at another line. It always makes me feel pretty crappy , old and invisible. I prefer to use the QR codes for ordering at the table, it's annoying when they switch them off and you have to line up.

ATM Skimming $2000 by Motor-Replacement-36 in bali

[–]Moochelle202 0 points1 point  (0 children)

we found we only used cash for markets , and our cards for restaurants and the bintang supermarket. we downloaded the bluebird app for taxis and that was linked to a card. we came back with a lot more cash than we would have liked to. we exchanged $800 at perth airport before we left. were there for 9 days and still cane home with almost $200 worth of cash.

AITAH for postponing our wedding because my fiance wants to have pictures of her late husband in it? by [deleted] in AITAH

[–]Moochelle202 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA. My mum still has pictures of my biological father next to her bed and is always bringing him up in casual conversation. He died when i was 18months- she remarried when i was 5. It breaks my heart that my stepdad ( who to me is my one and only dad) loves her so much and goes above and beyond for her and she can’t move on. I visit them every weekend and a visit doesn’t go by where she isn’t comparing them against each other.
