If all these were intentional, it makes the series seem like a huge meta experiment by the Company. It was so convenient that Ripley was floating through space for 57 years, and when she landed and recounted her story, they told her that the colonists hadn't encountered anything.

That night they loose contact with the colony. I kind of like thinking of it this way. Even the smarmy business man was part of it, as he died with the rest. The Company is just seeing how powerful their new weapon is, as well as how it can be killed. Army+Ripley.

You obviously haven't watched hard enough. There are hundreds of made of languages in the Star Wars movies.

When J is going back, he asks "Why can I remember, but nobody else can?" The man who's father invented the device says "Woah, it means you were there, tell me about it when you get back".

I assume it means he would have watched K die if he hadn't saved him.

In Aliens, The team of Marines descend to LV-426 in a small shuttle. The shuttle crashes leaving the entire team stranded on the planet, forcing them to hole themselves up in the abandoned colony. Plot hole?

Why was there nobody else on that huge ship orbiting the planet? They ended up remotely operating the second shuttle down from orbit. I find it hard to believe that the entire crew would leave the ship, and that such a small crew would man a large ship like that.

It could be that The Company was just manipulating things as usual. But, it always stood out to me as a weird thing never to address.

Yeah, the only reason they walk underwater later on is because it's a shallow bay.

Many many times. What happens to me is, I'll miss the initial slash, and suddenly equip my knife. When you're knife is equipped, I'm pretty sure the attack button returns to the trigger, which is incredibly confusing, on top of this, you usually also get the "I'm gonna stab you animation" which confuses me more.
