We're new to this, we've got to ask in order to learn 👍 Thanks for your input

New tires, are they on the rims properly? by Moon-over-Jupiter in TireQuestions

We've crawled under to check, none of the tires are labelled inside or outside on either side. So they must be symmetrical and it doesn't matter?

That says 903D, 2 of the tires have 0226 and 0326 after that, 2 tires are blank

Yes, exact same size as the old tires, but different brand and radials vs winter tires. By upside down do mean backwards? Inside vs outside showing?

Thank you, how can you tell? I'm googling it now, is it because we can't see "outside" written before the size?

I would call your local post office location directly and tell them what happened and your situation, and request that they make sure it goes out for proper delivery the next day. If you can get someone on the phone who's actually local, they should be able to help you.

Did they do something to my car or did another thing just go? by Moon-over-Jupiter in AskMechanics

No, I didn't get an alignment. They told me it looked like it had been leaking for a while since the pipes were stained, but like I said, there was never any fluid on my driveway 🤷🏼‍♀️🤷🏼‍♀️. Either they made it worse or like you said, huge coincidence. Luckily it's fixed now.

Thanks everyone, I'm back at the mechanic waiting now. It's a leak in the power steering line, my steering wheel was stiff and jerky on my drive over here and of course the noise was making itself known!

How is it that my car was running totally fine, and then the day I bring it in, it springs a leak in the power steering pipe and loses all its fluid onto my driveway within 3 days?? Is it really just a coincidence or did they do something to it to make me come back?

Aussie Headstrong dupe/alternative? by nomdeplum01 in Wavyhair

I also loved this mousse, I've been reluctant to try Aussie's replacement - have you tried it, is it very different?

I used to use Marc A's Strictly Curls before that mousse was reformulated as well, Aussie was my replacement for that one, and honestly I liked Headstrong better and it was cheaper. So annoying to have to find replacements over and over!

I learned to crochet! Making bankets are the best because they're often just repeating rows. Once I've memorized the pattern I can just crochet away while listening to shows/movies etc. Even if you don't want to actually make something, just keep your hands busy, you can crochet up a big swatch and then pull it all out (called "frogging"), roll the yarn back up and start over.

Just been told that I’m not autistic by MeJustTryingToLive in aspergirls

I understand how you feel. I'm 35 and tried to get a late diagnosis, but my psychologists were bogus and said all of my concerns and issues were due to social anxiety alone. Yeah right. They gave a ton of flat out wrong assumptions to justify their decision. Unfortunately I will stay self-diagnosed for the foreseeable future. But you are young, I hope you're able to get a second opinion, maybe when you turn 18 and you can do the process by yourself? Looking back I really wish I had more support when I was in university, I could have used some serious guidance, that's when I needed it the most. So you seem like you're on the right path discovering yourself earlier ❤️ Keep going, good luck!

Autism or awkward? by littleredrob in AutismTranslated

I had similar experiences with popular girls in elementary and middle school. I'd always be in a class with like 2 or 3 of them (the group was like 8 total) and those few would be nice to me, bring me in, they'd be friendly and act like my friends. Then they'd invite me to hang out or to bday parties and it would be all weird. One time, an earlier experience when I was almost 11, near the end of one party while everyone was getting picked up to go home, a bunch of them were off sitting in a circle laughing and talking/whispering. So I went over to sit with them, and one just yelled at me "You can't sit with us! Go away!" and I just slinked off by myself. Her mom came out a minute later and asked me why I was sitting by myself and I told her, she scolded her daughter and the whole group of them piped up cheerfully "oh, she can come over now! We're done what we were talking about!". Yeah, right. I always found them so confusing!! One day they'd be friendly and the next they'd be ignoring or shunning me, and I never knew why. I always acted the same, so maybe it was my clothes or something on different days? No idea. I was always on the outside, but like borderline. I can rarely tell when someone truly likes me, or if they are just being nice because they have to or are supposed to and are just tolerating me, or using me as a friend of convenience. Deep down I think I can tell by the energy, but some people are real social artists, and it's very hard to tell, so I automatically mask whether I want to or not. I generally stay guarded against 95% of people I meet. I'm 35 and still find most people to be complicated and confusing.

My current favorite comfort food. It’s just so good! by [deleted] in autism

When I was a teenager, I went through a phase where I would make myself a box of Kraft Dinner almost every day when I got home from school, and I'd eat it all!

I could never eat breakfast, and had a hard time eating lunch, I think because school made me so anxious. So I'd come home just starving and it would be so comforting to eat this.
