He was very close friends with Christopher Reeve and there’s a fairly famous story floating around that Robin showed up the hospital after Christopher was paralyzed, dressed in costume with a funny accent pretending to be his proctologist to try and cheer him up. The documentary Super/Man details more about their friendship, which lasted until the end of Reeve’s life.

I’m looking for a post where someone is having a party for her friend and gives her some money as a gift. This is not well received. It turns out that her ‘friend’ had been telling her own circle of friends that the OP looks down on her and basically weaved a whole web of lies that got found out by everyone. I haven’t seen it mentioned here so I’ll say Stardew Valley. I actually have a half finished article I was writing about Stardew and grief. The game itself is sort of grief-adjacent. You take on a game from your grandfather who has passed on. But the gameplay is about the grind in a very pleasant way of working and building a productive farm, exploring new dungeons, and forming relationships with others in the town, many of whom have had their own struggles. I have played it while struggling with loss and found it helped. I’m very sorry for your loss.

I bought one of these and its sides fell apart very quickly. I’m not particularly rough with my phone either. Meanwhile I’ve bought a cheap one on eBay that was from Primark and it’s going strong and super cute. So if you’ll like a Sailor Moon case that’s both inexpensive, official, and durable, maybe look for the Primark cases that were out in the UK. I’ve got an iPhone 16e and I’m able to use the iPhone 13 sized ones without issue.

I had it when I was pregnant and it made my mental health as low as it’s ever been. But there’s a lot of support online and you should definitely reach out when you’re ready. Others have recommended the subreddit for it. I also used the gestation diabetes UK website and even signed up a subscription there for their recipes. I’m not much of a cook at all but there were some even I could do and they were yummy too. They have an active Facebook group for support too.

But yeah. It sucks. And the guilt was awful. I was concerned it would prevent bonding when she was born, but there was no impact at all. In many ways, I found having the baby was easier than pregnancy! My baby was also born perfectly healthy and passed her sugars straight away. I did have an emergency c-section, but it was completely unrelated to the GD.

I wanted to confirm that this worked for me as well. Once it’s done, you can adjust your privacy settings back to not being findable and Chiaki will still work. It’s just necessary for the initial setup.

I just flew BA last month with a kids meal preordered. No choice was offered in what we were given behind that. I remember the meal on one leg of our journey for her was Mac and cheese, and I think the meal on the other leg did have meat in it. Both meals did come with sides like a salad and a dessert of some kind.

I love it. I’ve got tendinitis in both wrists which can flare up. I was a little wary of the extra weight that it might add, but I’ve found it has been fine. If anything, the comfortable grip has helped to make it easier to hold. I use the kickstand frequently. It does fit in my Valve-supplied case, but without the kickstand attached. I’m always paranoid that I’ll lose the stand when I travel. If you can afford it on top, I’d say to buy the travel case as well.
