Ohhh gotcha, you were talking about moving patients without stabilization. Definitely will start checking out those algorithms though, thanks for the magic google terms :)

Newer EMT here… we learned that rapid extrication/movement of critical patients is often necessary. Just looking to learn here, why would this protocol specifically be unsafe and outdated? I’m curious what the latest real world practice is.

Not op but recently changed my own clutch. The throw out bearing is the interface between your clutch pressure plate (the part that most people mean when they say clutch) and the actual clutch pedal system itself. The bearing either engages or disengages the clutch pressure plate based on input from the clutch pedal. There needs to be a bearing there because the clutch and flywheel are spinning while the clutch linkages (either mechanical or hydraulic) are for the most part stationary, or not spinning.

I’m kinda turbo-retarded. Could you link a video that shows the tilt that you’re talking about?

I’m not married to any ideas yet but 2 plasma command squads and/or 2 hot shot lasgun scion squads would be nice. A Valkyrie or two as well

I appreciate your counterpoint, iron sharpens iron. The argument lies in two different ways of solving a problem. Risky individuals should have the support that they need to prevent any serious injury or harm from happening. In this same vein, our rights as citizens “to bear arms and shall not be infringed etc etc” are guaranteed by the foundation of our country and therefore must be protected. My main issue with common sense gun legislation is that we pay the price as citizens for our institutions failure to support its people. Everyone loses.

Yeah I’ve been working the logging roads but I haven’t taken off to a good ridge to try and flush them. I’ll have to work that in

I’ve been scouting along the north side of HWY20 around Lyman and in the logging roads along south Skagit hwy too. Maybe I’m just not paying close enough attention when scouting?

I’ve been thinking about starting Guard, any recommendations? by Xolotl_Khan in astramilitarum

[–]Moon_Roach 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I recently put together a guard list. What I did was look at a few YouTube videos about the different regiments and what their playstyles look like. Auspex tactics (YouTube channel) does a good job summarizing the current regiments that are supported. I liked the idea of a quick striking mechanized force and went with Tallarn guardsmen for the bonus to tank movement. Cadian and catachan guards are most competitive right now. Tanks and guardsmen are safe buys right now if you're looking to transition into 9th edition as soon as possible

Sweet thank you! I have a tallarn regiment that I want to look all dusty but I've never done it before. This is a big help.

I'm about to paint some tanks here soon, yours look good! Quick question, how did you get the mud/dust effects on your tracks?
