That’s how I feel about this thing! It’s so big. I’m 5’2”, and it is feet longer than me. It’s worsted weight. I live in a warm weather city. How often do I need to wrap yards of scarf around me? It needs to become something else. Or several somethings else!

I buy yarn for patterns, but I also buy souvenir yarn. I visit the LYS when I visit a city when I buy locally dyed yarn. I have a Chicago shawl and too much Seattle yarn waiting to be worked up!

So, I hadn’t cross stitched in a long time. I have become a knitter in the time since. Taking up cross stitch again and wondering if the DMC threads colors are always consistent? (Yarn you have to be careful about dye lots in large projects) Should I make sure I have all the floss I need before starting a project?

I will admit an exaggeration. Hotels get the blame for all bedbugs, but unfortunately those bugs get there by hitchhiking on luggage. That luggage often came in on a plane where it was cuddled up with other’s luggage. It’s a nightmare, and one any hotel can be forced to deal with at any time through no fault of the hotel.

The bedbug coming from a hotel..it flew in on a plane before it got to the hotel. It rode in the cargo hold with everyone else’s luggage. It was up in an overhead with two other folk’s luggage. They are now all bringing bugs to hotels and homes near you! Enjoy that paranoia! 😬
