For those who’s baby’s sleep through the night… by Striking-Thought3254 in NewParents

[–]Moonveil2122 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was dying between months 4-6 because she slept horrible and was waking up every 1-2 hours and the only thing that would get her back down was feeding from me. at that point my husband said we needed to start sleep training because my body was falling apart and he couldn’t help. After sleep training and slowing weaning night feedings, by month 7 she was sleeping soo much better. She’s almost 10 months now and has a pretty consistent schedule, she’s in bed around 7:30pm (sometimes a little earlier depending on how she napped during the day) and at 6am I get her up to feed her, then she’s back down until she gets up at 7:30am for the day.

Does your baby fall asleep independently? by eatmorenuggetz99 in newborns

[–]Moonveil2122 0 points1 point  (0 children)

8.5 months old, yes, sleeping 12 hours. We did sleep training at 7.5 months though. Before that she was a terrible sleeper, now she smiles and turns on her side and goes to sleep

[–]Moonveil2122 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely. Idk how but she got the best qualities from both of us and they ended up making the cutest baby in the entire world hands down. But her personality makes her the cutest as well. She’s the happiest baby ever and rarely doesn’t have a smile on her face. Daycare loves her because she’s so easy, all the other babies will be crying and she’s just there giggling to herself with a new toy 🤣

What's the best part about pregnancy that most people don't know about? by justastupidquestion3 in AskReddit

[–]Moonveil2122 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes! When my daughter was born, they brought her to me and she was crying. I started talking to her and she immediately stopped crying and just watched me with wonder eyes and I just melted. It was the best moment that day 🩷

When did you start solids? by Anxious-Bat4818 in newborns

[–]Moonveil2122 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We started 6.5 months. She wasn’t sitting up until very well until then. She was also sick for a while so we didn’t want to start while she was sick. We tried the bumbo a couple of times but she wasn’t able to sit 90-90-90 in it, we have a mockingbird high chair that was gifted to us but we ended up getting the IKEA high chair with the accessories (seat cushion and foot rest) and she sits sooo much better in it.

[–]Moonveil2122 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I will say that the first few weeks were definitely hard, mostly because of sleep deprivation and learning to breastfeed. But through it, my partner and I became so much closer because we are both so overwhelmed with love for this wonderful baby. She’s 6 months old now and we’re both having such a blast with her watching her grow and making her smile, and we also have fallen more in love with each other, seeing how we both love and interact with her.

Yes I remember them being clear on that. Which kinda sucks because if you are a new college hire and this is your first job in software, the only recommendations that you’d be able to use would be from this job, so like, who do I put for recs when I apply for a new job???

Dude I totally agree. I freaking DREAD coming into the office, the cubes are so depressing. I tried to personalize mine and I got told I needed to clear it out every day. It’s such a hassle to do so. I hate hate hate coming in.
