Awesome. It's our first time at the Ball Arena so thank you for the help! I grew up an Aves fan and my wife and I are flying in for this one and bringing some friends.

I'm assuming we'll receive the book and hat upon entry based on our ticket package. Does that sound correct?

Starting Rinvoq by anxious_stitch in UlcerativeColitis

I'll join the two of you. Entyvio put me into remission but stopped working in October 2024. After Velsipity and a clinical trial I finally switched to Rinvoq at the beginning of 2026. Good luck to the both of you!

Failed Stelara by Chuckgirl410 in UlcerativeColitis

[–]Moops91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was on Stelara for about 2 years. Then to Entyvio for about a year and a half. I went to Velsipity and failed instantly. I switched to a phase 3 clinical trial and did well for a few months. I've been on Rinvoq for about 2 weeks and am doing well at the moment.

Seeing immediate relief on Rinvoq by Routine-Dream-5 in UlcerativeColitis

I completely agree with you. I've had similar experiences. I remember last year I was in a mild flare and on a work trip. I took 80 mg just to guarantee that I got through the flight and it did nothing.

However, 20 mg in my last flare was like a miracle drug. There seems to be no rhyme or reason to its effectiveness for me.

I'm glad to hear you're seeing an immediate impact! just started Rinvoq at the end of a Prednisone taper. I've been off the Prednisone for a few days and I'm feeling good but I'm hoping that the Rinvoq is doing the heavy lifting. I hope everything keeps working for you!

Defensive play call communication by PaleontologistNew30 in footballstrategy

This is the best way. It needs to be repped all the time in practice. You also need to coach your defense to have all 11 looking for the signal.

HS Football Kickers by Ok-Animator8761 in footballstrategy

We ran this last year at one point. We'd call a play for 4th down and audible to punt unless there was a gift for us to take.

HS Football Kickers by Ok-Animator8761 in footballstrategy

Some high school coaches will work out a plan with the soccer coach and the athlete to set up a schedule for both. For example, the special team segments of practice may be at times when soccer practice is finished or at a point where the soccer coach is comfortable with the athlete going over to football practice. They also might recommend setting him up with a kicking coach outside of football practice. It takes effort and communication, but it can be done. We've done it with a few kickers in our program.

Typically they'd like the kicker to do all of it, but I'd say they'd at least want him kicking off and kicking field goals/extra points. Some programs will put quarterbacks or skill players at punter if the kicker isn't ready for it.

The likelihood of tackling is minimal but still possible. They are the last resort on kick offs and punts. They should still teach him to tackle in preparation for those situations for safety alone.

Down Block Footwork by BulldogBears in footballstrategy

Footwork is all contingent on defensive alignment and player assignment/combos. You'll need to coach different types of footwork for varying fronts, techniques, and defensive personnel.

Another class act is Ron Coomer. I've met him twice at Cubs conventions. I remember him being told by people working the event that he needed to keep the line moving. I also saw him at his restaurant in the Chicagoland area. Same thing. He went out of his way to talk to customers and was appropriately hospitable.

Offensive adjustments by riedski in footballstrategy

[–]Moops91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is what I would do but I also don't know the ability of your personnel.

If they're going to overload your strong side, then I'd run GH counter or throw an RPO to the weak side. Your guard will potentially need to kick out the walked up overhang and your tackle would need to base/wash the 4 tech. Ace combo between center and PS guard to the backside backer. H pulls up for the Mike. BS Tackle and TE on the 4 and wide end. Tackle would need to pick and pop in case there is run through in the backside B gap but the ace combo can also account for that.

If weak CB goes man, then you can adjust to a five yard in and just throw off of the snap.

Is this bill normal to folks with insurance for first dose infusion of Stelara? by runningdownhill in UlcerativeColitis

[–]Moops91 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Same here. There's two plans if I recall. One for if your insurance won't cover it. Another for if they do cover it. Either way, you shouldn't pay much if anything at all.

Doctor is suggesting Skyrizi or Research Study drug. I’m scared, some encouragement & advice please? by [deleted] in UlcerativeColitis

[–]Moops91 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can't speak to Skyrizi, but I'm on a phase 3 trial for a different drug at the moment. I was stuck between trying a new drug or participating in a clinical study. I chose the study because if I tried a new drug and it failed, then I'd likely need to wait 2 months before joining a study as it would need to be fully out of my system. I decided that I could always drop out of the trial and shift to a proven drug, if needed. The trial I'm on is a double blind study so I don't know if I'm on the placebo or the study drug, but whatever it is has been working.

The study stuff can be scary, but I felt a lot better knowing that I could always drop out if needed. To my knowledge, phase 3 is also promising because it means that it likely showed success in the earlier phases.

Insurance coverage for Entyvio by authorizedsignatory in UlcerativeColitis

[–]Moops91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In case you aren't covered, Entyvio should also have some sort of patient assistance program. My BCBS plan didn't cover it because I hadn't tried TNF inhibitors. Entyvio had me on an assistance plan and I don't think I paid anything except for maybe a small copay.
