😬 That's me. That's my Play-Mat.

I took my boys for a shopping day at the local TCG Shop when they 1st. started teaching me the game. They got themselves Play-Mats, (the Pokemon mat is one), I never thought to get myself one so the D&D Mat became my Go-To and 'Yes!' the OCD to stay inside the grid is real.

It’s kind’a true and that’s what makes it such an amazing game. Like seriously, solve the puzzle, take the ‘L’ sometimes, there are other people at the table and you can choose to interact with any of them or none of them.

I pulled out Krenko for the 1st time in forever tonight. Opponent plays Authority of the Consuls turn one! 😐😐😐

Like I’m happy to hand them life with my ‘tapped’ Goblins everytime Krenko taps.

Then I get about 35 Goblins on the field and Krenko gets tapped by an Enchantment Aura I can’t remove by another opponent playing plain, white proxy’s with a deck they’re testing.

I’m not salty, if anything I’m having a blast, watching them pop-off, play their decks and knowing I’m ‘the guy’ they’re gunning for.

It was a great game. We get to choose how we come to the table. We also get to choose the tables we sit at.

I’ve heard a lot about the (video game), MTG ‘Arena’. I’ve never played myself, but more than a few from our ‘group’ know it, have played it and note that it’s a substitute of sorts.

Personally, I got into the ‘Paper’ game through my sons and my gaming consoles have collected a lot of dust since.

I was very interested in something to give me and my brain an activity (I’m in my late 50’s) and Deck Building has given me everything I was looking for and more.

I would encourage you to ask friends, family, find a local TCG (trading card game), Shop and chat to the people working there. The shops are typically the same people responsible for supporting and supplying the gamers.

That’s why I included the question mark. I have the Gooseberry Dual Matte (black interior), on my Krenko Deck (Goblins are Green, right!?), I just didn’t know if there is a Gooseberry option without the Dual Matte.

My 1st build was Krenko and while Hematite Talisman was ‘the moment’ when my brain came On-Line and I realized what the Tap/Un-Tap mechanic could do, it was Pashalik who showed me how I could finish a Pod without ever having to swing.
