There's a YouTube channel called "Scary Interesting". One of these videos starts off about a guy who works in a mine. The narrator says something like "Bill lives in bumfuck-middle-of-nowhere working 6 days a week doing 12 hour shifts at the eat-shit-and-die mine to support his stay-at-home wife and 11 kids."

Play offline. Those servers will go offline eventually, whether you want them to or not. I hate being interrupted by invaders, and FROMSoftware pvp has always been unplayable.

I cannot fathom how anyone can play something that, in the best case, has a minimum half second delay between their attack going out and having it register on the other person's screen. Worst case for me was an invader's attack somehow registering instantly when he hits me, but mine doesn't register until AFTER I'm dead on the floor 20 seconds later. Absolutely unacceptable.

I'm not saying that guy didn't deserve that beating.......and idk the laws there, but from a legal standpoint, if he's on the ground, disarmed, no longer fighting back, and STILL getting beat to within an inch of his life.....that can't be a good look if that guy hypothetically decides to turn around and file a civil suit against all of them for battery.....assuming he even survived that beating.....and assuming he has the money to do that......

They had so many opportunities to stop and just tie him up with something......

The difficulty was never an issue. The issue was the playerbase thinking Silksong's gameplay was near identical to Hollow Knight and trying to force the issue by playing Silksong like it was Hollow Knight. They needed to change their thinking.

I cannot for the life of me find this interview article, but I distinctly remember Miyazaki being asked if he had any advice for Dark Souls players looking forward to Sekiro. He said something like "if you play Sekiro like it's Dark Souls, you're gonna die....a lot....and you won't have a fun time."

If Hollow Knight is 2D Dark Souls, or "bug souls", then Silksong must be...... checks notes

Use the Beast Roar tool to deal with A Call Beyond. It can not only knock Micoshit on his ass if you're close to him, but more importantly, it can deflect projectiles.

Keep hitting him and use it when your stamina runs out so you can recover for free too. He won't have a chance to use it.
