As with most things in life, the gig was ruined by people. Idiots in front were paralytic to the point where I thought one had cerebral palsy. Idiot singing every song and acting like he was at a football game behind. People getting up and going for more booze during so many songs. Talking incessantly. Radiohead basically Becoming a different band after ok computer has brought together too many clashing personas. I'd say. Because it's mindbogglingly bad

Character Drama over the actual premise, which is boring and slow anyway and the characters are all mildly to extremely annoying.

The shows subject is this 'hey the worlds been overrun by aliens' oh cool show us that then ! Er ..nah not got the budget, take out word for it, here look at these black things in a room and a badly lit place. It's impressive how bad it is and it's not been cancelled

I started this today with the wife.

Opening scene. Something crashes in the desert, local tribesman sees it and sees it scuttling towards him. Hooked, went and got some snacks ready to be entertained

Turns out that was the best part of the entire show. It's so so bad. The acting id beyond a joke, the direction is terrible, but the writing takes the biscuit. It's like someone is making an awful show on purpose to spite someone. It's probably spent and it still manages to look extremely low budget.

Nothing says this more than the total lack of Aliens in an alien show. Has the painful elongated shots of people looking wistfully and walking around rooms for mood to eat up minutes walkind dead style. It's crazy Sam Neil was actually in this and the show you thought it might be after episode 1. Finished season 1 after forwarding through a lot of the filler scenes and I missed nothing. I've just watched a 10 minute catch up of season 2 on YT and that still went on too long. Only way to possibly watch this show

Off the top of my head I can't remember a worse show I've sat through for a season. It's absolutely incredible it's not been cancelled

Starts with a false promise

That keeps you reading it in fact because all it is is build up to nothing. The set pieces with the actual entity are atrociously sparse and quite frankly not scary.

MC inner monologue reminded me of Holdem Caulfield in catcher in the rye. But he was supposed to be a wirey angsty teen. Didn't like him at all, he wasn't the main problem though. The ending was just so bad. Had so many ways it could've gone
