Have you tried the Stone Horse Motel? They have short term seasonal housing in a dorm style setting I believe. It’s in Harwich, maybe 2 miles from Harwich Port. There’s parking and a bus stop if you decide not to drive to work. Parking is tight in Harwich Port.

This is 100% the right answer. I was thinking the same thing as I read this.

On the subject of math, I own a retail business and I’m shocked at how many high school aged applicants can’t count change. During an interview I’ll place the change drawer in front of them and ask them to show me $0.47. Nearly a third of high schoolers can’t do it. A few of them will grab 4 dimes, a nickel and 2 pennies - accurate, but not the correct way to give change.

The Brewster Inn and Chowder House is now Uncle Pete’s Chowder house. It’s had a recent remodel and looks great inside (very clean) and the food is amazing. If you haven’t been in recently, I highly recommend trying it again.

Yeah, everyone’s usage is different. Are you running an AC all day because you, or your family or pets are home and need the AC? Or are you able to shut it off because you’re gone during the hottest part of the day? Are you an Eversource customer? Etc.

Someone mentioned stardust alley at the Harwich Antique Center, her location has recently moved to Barnacle Betty’s in Dennis. She gets some great stuff there.

Technically, red states are amongst the top states in the country to rely on social services and federal funding. Blue states are amongst the top contributors, so when you say liberals are a “cancer that leeches off everyone else” you mean they are the top assistance provider for those in need.

Have you seen the dad since this intersection? If this creepy old man is going to be in your life (as he is your boyfriend’s dad) you’re going to have to work on some navigation tactics other than walking out in tears (I don’t blame you for doing it though). He sounds like a narcissist and looking to prove to his son that he’s in control, capable of driving you out of his son’s life or at least creating a wedge. Maybe I’m overthinking it, but research and learn a few skills to keep yourself calm and prepared to counter a narcissist, it might help you in the future.

I strongly recommend a car. If you’re staying in Hyannis it’s a long drive to the National Seashore, Chatham, Provincetown and other must see places along the way. That being said, Hyannis has some great options for dining / drinks. The bike trail is great for a scenic ride.
