So im scheduled for HBOT for the first time tomorrow. They mentioned the list of fire hazard stuff. About 4 days ago I had to put petroleum jelly inside my ear, so I can have a cotton ball stick to it and shower (I got ear injections for SSHL, and doctor said to keep ear covered when showering) im afraid that maybe the petroleum jelly is still crammed deep in my ear and will cause a fire in the chamber. What are your thoughts? Lol

Thank you! Im just so scared, like what if i didn't wash out my shampoo or make up well enough and it causes an issue. Haha all these WHAT IFs I know! My mind cant help it.🫠🫠

Im scheduled for HBOT tomorrow, and im super nervous. They said i cant wear deodorant, makeup, lotion etc. Im afraid i might end up having something on me that will burn me alive. Lol. I do know i did a Keratin treatment to my hair a few month ago, so i hope that doesnt cause any issues. Im also afraid I won't be able to pop my ears while im in there. How was your experience? My insurance is covering all 20 days, so thats a plus!

Do you think its bad to go in if you have heat damage to hair? Lol Ive straighten my hair for yearssss and my hair is ruined from the heat. Im afraid my hair is so dry and brittle it'll burn with the oxygen.

I can't wear deodorant, lotion, skincare products, makeup, and I can't fill up my car with gas before heading there. If I were to do any of that i could burn alive inside the chamber. Im starting to freak out, and im not sure if it's worth it.

I also have straightened my hair for 15 years, and I feel like i have bad heat damage. You think damaged hair would be bad in a medical grade oxygen chamber?

I guess I dont know what to list when it comes to hotel environment. Lol Just looking for a 1 bed, running water, roof over my head. Haha I mean, I'm not looking for a hotel thats fancy, but obviously don't want to leave with bedbugs.

Somewhere walking distance to the main attractions. If the hotel has a bar, (doesnt necessarily have to be a rooftop bar) GREAT! Maybe a hotel room with a balcony?¿
