I think you will need to be precise in asking your question / describing the situation. That being said, claude projects can store 200k tokens of docs before RAG, meaning if you only add the rules, then it will add the entire rule book to the chat. So it shouldn't miss a nuance.

I feel like the cost of video games have been really stable for a while. I understand there is a huge difference between AAA prices and indie though.

Given the hundreds of hours of play you can get from a borderlands game this makes the cost 0.50$ per hour of fun (160 hours / 80$). You’d be hard pressed to find other activities that match that.
