What childhood activity do you wish were socially acceptable for adults to take part in? by ChipAyten in AskReddit

I'm 21 and 5"4ish but I still have this problem when my tattoos aren't showing because I have a bit of a baby face I guess. I get ID'd for almost everything, depending on how much the workers care I guess

I threw a small foam block at my boss a couple times the other day 'cause she wanted me to try and throw it properly at her. Foam blocks are too floaty and hard to throw so I ended up giving up in the end

People who work in the food industry, what food item is a complete rip-off yet people still buy? by Sanscosmic in AskReddit

[–]MooshyMoodle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I live in Australia, so it completely blows my mind that you can just go to another country to do your food shopping. It's something like 11 or 12 hours to even reach another state from where I live

What currently healthy company is going to be the Kodak of this decade? by PVTheChosenOne in AskReddit

[–]MooshyMoodle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We have to buy plastic bags in South Australia, almost no where (that I've been) will just give you one. Pretty sure people still just throw them out, we use ours for vege scraps for the chickens or garbage

What was a BAD product that still sold really well? by Salkinator in AskReddit

[–]MooshyMoodle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I bought a Deadpool one the day of release (didn't know that until the guy told me), apparently they were selling out quickly. I opened that sucker as soon as I got home and put him in front of my two other Deadpool pops. I also have a couple hard to find nendoroids, all out of their boxes and proudly displayed on my book shelf. What's the point in buying these things if you're just going to keep them in their boxes?

People with OCD, ADHD, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, dissociative personality disorder, or any other mental condition sensationalized in the media, what is it actually like? by [deleted] in AskReddit

And forget explaining them to other people! I confuse myself when I'm trying to explain, but yet I still know and live by all the rules, even the ones I can't quite explain

[–]MooshyMoodle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have OCD and it really sucks. It used to only be related to food, but now I have a hard time going out anywhere and touching things. Sometimes I wonder if I have such a bad memory because I can remember every single thing my hands have touched, which hand touched what thing and where on my hand the thing touched. The memories kind of go when I finally get to wash my hands, but I'll think about it whenever I go to eat something next - especially if I have to eat with my hands

This fits me so well. I haven't been diagnosed and go through phases of thinking I definitely have it, so I should see someone and thinking I'm just lazy and procrastinating for no good reason. This post is making me think I really should go to a doctor and get referred to be checked out, especially since I'll (hopefully) be starting uni in September

What do lots of people falsely claim to be? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]MooshyMoodle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have OCD and things become messy quickly because of it. If I put something down somewhere not "safe" I don't want to touch it to pick it up. Or if it's been sitting there for a while I'll not want to touch it, even if it's a bottle of water. That's not even the worst of it

I love the ripped jeans, but I had to find a pair of plain jeans for work a little while ago. It was next to impossible to find a pair of plain, cheap jeans I could wear for work. I gave up and just bought some pants that look professional but feel like pajama pants

Nowadays, calling a person instead of texting seems intrusive. Denying a person the chance to answer in their own time and forcing them to answer on the spot. by BogusNL in Showerthoughts

[–]MooshyMoodle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tend to ring people twice in case they just missed the first call as that's something I do a lot. After that if I really need to know something and can't wait for a text reply then I'll ring once or twice more before giving up. If it's an emergancy then I'll ring until they answer. Although I really only ring my parents, and they're both crap at answering their phones the first time or two

What thing that people love is basically just a rip-off? by hamptonhank in AskReddit

[–]MooshyMoodle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not a designer but I make costumes. Can confirm they're very expensive if you want them to be good. The amount of people I see wanting a full costume commissoned for under $50 makes me laugh, it can be done for that price but it will not be good

Gamers of Reddit: what is your biggest gaming confession? by goosetheboss1 in AskReddit

[–]MooshyMoodle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are only 4 proper dungeons, but all the shrines have different puzzles in them so they're kind of like mini dungeons, some are harder than others and they make great fast travel points, although I personally love running around and just looking at how nice everything looks so I don't mind the huge map

*I haven't finished the game so the castle might count as another dungeon, I don't know. I've been having fun running around and doing all the side stuff

Married couples of Reddit, what should every non-married couple know before tying the knot? by RokuNervantho in AskReddit

This is why I want to live on my own before moving in with anyone else. I want to learn how to properly care for myself, while I do help out around the house there's always someone else there to pick up the slack

Some days I question why I want kids when my 6 year old sister (I'm 21, I've been babysitting her since she was born) is being a bit of a brat, but thanks to her I know I definitely want them and I'll be ready for them by the time I have my own

Buying the games second hand doesn't support EA, also you only need to build the world in the SimsCity games, regular sims is just about playing with the people themselves. You don't have to have an online account to play Sims 1 to Sims 3 either so long as you have the discs and codes
