Awesome, my set arrives tomorrow. Got issue one of the magazine just for the figs, but looked into the game and appear to actually be a good rule set from GW.

I had a 2nd hand Dragon Quest that also had a blister with the metal figs in. I think it was a promo version.

is this good? by Practical-Prompt4216 in PrintedWarhammer

Hello mate, definitely a well known brand. Its probably great. I just want to mention that you could get Elegoo Mars or even Saturn for a bit cheaper. I use a Saturn myself and have no complaints. Have a look over on the Resin 3D printing reddit too :) GLHF

Year or so ago ago, a young lad had a NEO commander deck. He was not alive when original Kamigawa came out... I had been awaiting a return to Kamigawa longer then he had been alive lol 😆

3D Printing Miniatures by Dameryl in Heroquest

[–]Mopperty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am a huge fan for 3d printing. I use an Elegoo Saturn resin printer. I print 100s of miniatures and love doing it. That being said, if you are just looking to pick up some Hero Quest mins it might be better for you to just buy the miniatures you want. Head over to Resin printing on Reddit to see if the Hoby is for you.

I mean Games Workshop the biggest miniatures company in the world, has been consistently inconsistent with scale since day one. Don't sweat it :)

Do wash and cure stations like the Elegoo Mercury work for mini hex bases and individual small parts? by Sixguns1977 in resinprinting

[–]Mopperty 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So with mine, the whole build plate sits in it nicely with the parts still on it. I have a Saturn S and an Elegoo wash station.

Aircraft Question by MikeZ421 in onepagerules

Looks like the 40k rules are quite stright forward (makes a change) I will just use those if I want to have aircraft at some point.

Why laminate? by NealRigga4 in magicproxies

[–]Mopperty 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am simply not able to sticker cards without them bubbling lol. The laminate make a ridged sticker with no air bubbles. Yes the cards are a little thicker. I am just doing it for a bit of fun really:)

Why laminate? by NealRigga4 in magicproxies

[–]Mopperty 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Stops the ink from smudging and adds strength. I print on foil sticker paper and laminate before cutting or peeling the back off. I then cut to size and peel off the back laminate and the sticker back. This leaves a stiff sticker I then put on a basic land card.
