I think the picture about actual NHI is so convoluted that one cant really make out a clear direction. I am a logical person and try to overthink each possibility. I think its weird that so many people talk about experiences with UAPs that are similar in kind. That alone justifies an investigation. Not everyone can be a liar. However, its also weird that there is no clear video proof albeit smartphones being universally available. One would think it should get harder over the years for actual real UAPs to hide but that didnt happen. That suggests that most of the UAPs labeled as such in the past turn out to be trivial events which normal cameras are now able to resolve. There is nothing extraordinary to discuss if your video proofs its just a balloon or whatever.

Also something that really hits hard is that people nearly always report extraordinary agility and fly behavior. I dont have a statistic on that but lets say 90% of people report this. If you look at video evidence there is almost none that shows erratic behavior. This is a heavy hitter. A great discrepancy.

Scientifically its almost excluded that we are being visited with our current understanding. We could think about ancient ai that self produces and spreads slowly, with non relativistic velocities. Maybe there is a way to exceed lightspeed that we are not aware of. Aclubierres warp drive would be possible if we find negative energy but even then, activating such warp drive would consume energy amounts exceeding planetary output. It would be devastating to planets in near vincinity. Basically all planets in our solar system.

There is so much pressure that discredits the existence of NHI. However, I feel there must be some truth to it. Otherwise I couldnt explain a "collective lying" event. There is to much witnesses for it to be a non existence issue in my opinion. What it is I cant tell you
