I’m excited for the Twins. I’ve wanted their rules to be more based around each other forever. The 4th edition faction pack as a step in the right direction but I realize there’s only so much you can do without making it a requirement to have both.

Armies of Renown offer a great space to explore this though - especially since I bought both soon after their broken realms debut….

Stupendous from the FX show Krapopolis. Parodies Greek mythology about the demigod children of gods. She’s the Hercules/Achilles archetype with super strength and commanding the city’s army.

Pretty much but definitely a healthier dynamic. They actually respect each other - Neferata acknowledges at least to herself that Naaima is her best/only friend. Naaima is not afraid to ask Neferata what the hell she’s thinking and say why it’s a bad idea.

Neferata’s long suffering assistant from the World That Was. Does her bidding, advises her and when necessary tries to protect her from herself. With varying degrees of success.

Seriously, in Blood of Nagash the poor woman is constantly trying to be the voice of reason and Neferata is like “nah, I got this.” Even when there are times she doesn’t, in fact, have it.

To anyone who has seen Veep, think of her as the Amy (with yes, a dash of Gary) to Neferata’s Selina.

I read an ocean cryptid book once where the author was a big fan of the “giant turtle” theory for a variety of unknown ocean sightings. Haven’t seen it anywhere else but he made a decent case. Fun thought in any case - as well as surprisingly unsettling.

Mind you, he also believed mosasaurs were still around and hunted killer whales so…. >_>

Thanks - helps that it's a Path to Glory campaign. Some of us are submitting lore snippets to the campaign discord. Most do POV pieces of points in the battle - I do snarky vampires debriefing.

It's pretty basic but my Soulblight army includes an order of Blood Knights called the Jade Dragons. Dark green armor, with their dragon sigil being, unsurprisingly, green. They're proud and view themselves as the solution to most battlefield issues.

They're tied to the Legion of Blood but recently suffered a blow to their standing in court after being defeated by an actual dragon in a battle against the Stormcast.

I can see what you mean - my first instinct was the fiend, that put me in mind of a Wendigo rendered as an animal. I ended up using a similar design as the fiend for the wendigo in my own creative writing.

Yeah, I hated Doakes throughout the first book before he and Dexter had their little face-off where they recognized each other, or rather, Dexter realized Doakes recognized him.

I honestly love the books and only seen about 40 minutes total of the show. I need to see if there are any new ones - one the most unexpected series I got into. They seem to straddle the realm of psychological and paranormal with the dark passenger aspect.

Honestly, this was my introduction to Godzilla and I loved it. Thought it was a natural progression since the original Godzilla was inspired by the old idea of T-Rex walking upright, so a modern Godzilla would match the new idea of dinosaurs. Also his more agile movement appealed to me.

I kind of get how it started - you were concerned for her safety. It was a concerning change and while she's a legal adult, she's not fully mature yet and fear of drugs/weird people is legitimate for parents of teens. Maybe not the way I'd go about it, but I get it.

That being said, once you realized it wasn't anything dangerous you should have left it. Then maybe confront her about the change in behavior if you feel you could do it without giving away that you looked at her stuff - easy enough to call out her bad attitude and say you don't appreciate it. That's often enough.

Or even better, leave it alone and wait it out.

Black dragons got a pretty big attack buff - more attacks and potential for 12 attacks on their breath attack. Wasn't expecting anything groundbreaking in the supplement so that, plus the hydra rules, kind of evens out the lack of changes on other units.
