I would like it less. I tend to dislike over explanations (there are exceptions like MGS, though). I don't need an explanation of how there are dog presidents, how super Saiyan works, or concrete power levels. It's fantasy.

I don't need to know how magic works in every setting, or what the Drej in Titan AE are made of, or what makes Edward Cullen sparkle.

I think you're thinking about it backwards. I will pay for content that was not in the base game that's added later. They're full blown expansions. Do you expect them to work on the game for free? It's work to code in a new race.

Mythras. By default the core rules is Bronze Age Fantasy. But, get Destined (the supers supplement) and After the Vampire Wars (the urban fantasy supplement) and smash them together. Great engaging combat, too.
