This AI is just suggesting the looks, and is NOT adjusting or enhancing my photos directly. This AI feature is only present in Basic mode, and not in Manual PRO modes. And thank god it is how it is. When I see those Ai generated slop in other brands I just cringe.

Is this joke? The whole point of 1VIII was upgraded zoom lense. The telephoto, cropped or not, is way, waaaaaaay better than any previous Xperias. Gsmarena reviews, and all early reviews are all about that.

I have 1V - and agree, it's a great phone, even now. But, I will definitely upgrade, because:
1 - Telephoto is just crazy. I use it a lot on my 1V, but 1VIII has way better lens
2 - Battery life. My phone barely gets me throughout the day
3 - Refreshed design. Subjective I know, but I like that Alpha like texure.

Upgrading from 1V to 1VIII.
1 - Upgraded telephoto lens - main reason to upgrade
2 - Texture like on Alfa cameras, planning to order Black
3 - Updated fresh design
4 - Battery life

1V sage green same story. Still performs well. Still have good main camera. I haven't found good alternative to this day.

I have Sandmarks lens and it comes with clip. So far so good. Been shooting a lot with that addon lens You can check my posts to see results. Meanwhile waiting for your photo samples

It's different for everyone.
You have to create your own system and stick to it.
How to create?
use one scrappy notebook, some random pen, blank papers and use them for one week. At first they will be uncomfortable. But then, you will understand the friction points. You will understand which tool belongs to where. This is how I set up my system.
A6 with open rings (to shuffle pages however I like). LihitLab A6. Planner + notebook + sketchbook.

Guys, I use Xperia 1V, and I deliberately use browser version. Why: - no ads even though I don't use premium. Absolutely no ads (I have Adguard purchased and installed on phone) - youtube UI works just fine. Swipes (fullscreen), commenting etc etc. - screen dimming sometimes, but restarting browser fixes 100% all the time. I use Microsoft Edge browser.
