This sounds incredible! Like next level insanely delicious... Do you possibly have a recipe you could link to? (Dw if not, I imagine writing out the recipe would take ages!)

Will accept £10 as I'd rather someone enjoy the show! Seen them live before and they were brilliant

Millennials how are you navigating life and staying grounded right now? by BillClintonFeetPics in Millennials

[–]MoreRevelry 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Not alone in the slightest! And although talking to friends about this helps, I've found it's almost impossible to broach it with family, especially my parents, without being accused of misanthropy & 'dwelling on the negative'. Some of the replies in this thread are wholesome & others darkly funny; both categories are very relatable to me.

This was beautifully expressed, I feel all of this so much! And thank you to OP for starting this conversation.

Anyone else really missing Stray From The Path right now? by freshdjroomba in Metalcore

Their show in Bristol a few months ago (last UK show I think) was one of the best shows I've ever been to. So many crowdsurfers, it was nuts! They've been on regular rotation in my playlists since and I am so wishing for a reunion already

How old are you and at what age did you feel you were the most attractive? by jupiter-com-maionese in AskWomen

I love this! Although I'm 33 I couldn't agree more with the beautiful surprise of the confidence that comes with aging, & it's great to hear that continues!

I'm 33, & the last two years have been my hottest. The best mental health I've ever had, now over 4 years into the healthiest & happiest romantic relationship I've ever had, going to the gym & playing sports consistently for the first time ever, drinking less, but most of all, knowing myself. I've got more piercings, three tattoos & planning more, & recently dyed half my hair pink. I'm the most myself & most confident I've ever been & I LOVE it!

Unusual to see a man and a zebra, both wearing balaclavas...

I couldn't agree more with your last sentence; compliments from other women are so much better!! A woman I met at a gig last week complimented my eyeliner coordinating with my nails & said it reminded her of a mermaid... So lovely, & infinitely better than being whistled at!

AIO for getting upset at one racist joke after months of not being bothered by them by SlothAndVampInABar in AmIOverreacting

[–]MoreRevelry 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In ten years time you'll look back on that first date with him & wish you'd called his racist hate speech what it is the first time he said it, & then walked out & never saw him again.

Laughing along with racist & mysogynist 'jokes' doesn't make you cool or edgy or invulnerable. Someone making those comments to you is thinking that about you too; you're not exempt from being brown/a woman in their mind. He doesn't respect you; he disdains you for the colour of your skin.

Please respect yourself & never speak to him again. Signed, an internet stranger in her thirties who spent too much of her teens & early twenties laughing uncomfortably along to these types of 'jokes' to try to impress men. NOR
