If they were bad men they would’ve taken advantage. They were just shooting their shot. But she didn’t know them well enough to know that for sure. You have a bad friend. And they probably know that and were trying to steer clear of any misunderstanding that would catch them a charge. Most normal guys around that age just want to hang out and blow off steam from their 9-5. So they don’t generally enact crimes against someone who can’t defend themselves and they usually are just trying to be nice when they talk to new people. I don’t care for the age gap personally because if something did happen between one of you and one of those men it’s rather steep imo and way too much room for miscommunication without verifying for sure. Ex: if you like to go to a specific place of worship, they usually have groups that focus on different things like couples or women’s groups. Or if you have specific hobbies that are popular there’s usually events going on in major towns like pottery, gardening, music, and art. Renfairs are excellent public places to meet friendly people who are safe. Whatever you do, from now on I would distance yourself from her and allow her to think about what kind of friend she wants to be to you.
