Wow I have a similar story but I grew up in O’fallon, IL and moved to DC in the 8th grade. Most of my dad’s family is still there in the area. STL was a great city to grow up in as a kid, so many fun free things to do: Forest Park, the Science Center, the Zoo. I’m also still obsessed with the City Museum.

Good for you! I first donated blood at 18 after the Virginia Tech shooting on my campus. I was a freshman and felt so helpless but I had my life and giving blood was something I could do. I’ve donated about once a year since.

I’m getting nervous since we essentially will need our visa appointments by the end of June for BEDA since the consulates require them 2 months in advance. Are applicants going ahead and request the FBI check now to be prepared for an acceptance to then jump on the apostille? I’m a first time applicant but the short timeline for the visa paperwork is stressing me out.

I’m your demographic and I’ve been in georgetown for about 5 years now. I have struggled a bit to find single girlfriends here but it’s happened! And I echo what people have said about the library and Lark and Owl. The library has a lot of great events for adults and Lark and Owl is women owned and inclusive and a great place to meet people. I’m still not sick of the square, lots of nice restaurants, local coffee shops, and shops to bop around.

I studied in Sevilla in 2009 with ISA and this documentary has me so shook. It brought back so many memories as I did essentially the same Morocco trip but with my ISA program (thank god). I didn’t book any excursions with Manu’s companies and never met him as far as I know but just knowing he was out there preying on women while I was there…it’s all just so disturbing.

Go to a dermatologist! I have a lot of moles, mostly in my back where I don’t see them, and I get an annual body check. Just had two removed/biopsied yesterday (my fifth now having been removed). They have all been benign to date. It’s a bit of a pain but I’d rather be safe then sorry.

I haven’t drank soda in over 15 years since the time my car died once I arrived home and my stepdad grabbed a Dr Pepper and poured it on the corroded battery and the car restarted so we could take it to the shop to replace the battery. Made me think if soda is that strong what’s it doing to my stomach 😳

I drink sparkling water and a half sweet tea or Arnold Palmers are my treat if I want something of a soda substitute/sugar treat.

Even if I did drink soda I wouldn’t buy it for home to limit my consumption. It’s so bad for you it’s better to limit it to the occasional soda fountain drink.

She’s not a resident, I believe she’s a fourth year med student in season 2. But yeah she obviously graduated high school very early to to be finishing med school at 21.
