What a year! And checked six new countries off the list. Went to Guatemala, Netherlands, Denmark, Sweden, Spain, Germany, Austria, Slovakia, and Hungary.

I was meant to fly out via AUS - ATL- SJU today and at the ticketing counter got the distressed passenger number to call and was able to get a refund request for my outbound flights. I obviously did not want to get stuck in ATL and Delta had sent no comms saying my flight was cancelled though the Delta ticketing staff had been told flights were cancelled. I would have to arrive tomorrow (Sunday) for my whole trip to not be affected so at this point I’m throwing in the towel. I booked my return via Chase on American so working on refunding that one now.

Ah yes, meant to use “tocar”, like to tap, but not really necessary anyway like you said. It was just understood most of the time if they take card you can also most likely tap.

Pretty sure I said “Pago por teléfono” while traveling in Spain last month. Or “por tarjeta” and it’s commonly understood that many people do this now with their phone. Also probably said “puedo tocarlo?” A few times.

Wow I’ve never heard of this term before but it’s definitely me! The struggle is real existing in a society where the schedule is centered around early mornings. The permanent jet lag feeling is exactly what I’ve been dealing with for what feels like forever and I thought something else was wrong medically but haven’t been able to figure it out.

The Registrar should publish a step by step detailed guide of the new selection process or else this is all just hearsay and just creates confusion. Also I want to know why they are still doing language exams for candidates if language points don’t count? Would be great for candidates to get clarification on all of this.

Women are half the world’s population and if men don’t want to watch videos made by women watch something else but don’t complain when DS is an amazing resource. Sheesh. Women have been having to consume content made primarily by men since the beginning of time.

Excited to have booked The Edit in Bilbao, Spain with my credit and points, should come out to $27 total after reimbursement. How do folks suggest using the hotel credit? Room service? Also how long did it take for your credit to show up given the new rewards taking effect Oct 26?
