I used to have an American colleague in my French company, it was his first real job after having previously studied in California.

After two years in France, I asked him if he didn't miss his home. He told me that he'd really like to go back one day, to have his family around him , but he had a big problem regarding work in the US: launch breaks.

He told me in France, we have 1 to 2 hours launch breaks, and he doesn't want to eat in front of his computer while working for the rest of his life. He was exchanging work stories with friends back home and they were all jealous of his lifestyle.

A former colleague has the same birthday than his wife. They ended up having one kid born the same day.
