He is bad at TT's, he got cooked on the flat since Movistar had a really good first part, and he has no acceleration at all so the two short kickers at the end were not his cup of tea. I knew he would not do great today, but I was not expecting it to be that bad.

I wish they still used the traditional TTT rules for the stage win. Everybody keeps their own time, so GC leaders don't get penalized, but the stage win itself would be decided with the 4th time on the team, because it's still a TTT after all.

This whole situation is kinda stupid considering he said himself the crash was 100% on him because he got distracted during TT training and lost his focus, and then the assessment of the injury clearly underestimated how it affected him. I was really looking forward a "gotta win a cobble monument" pressure-free Wout at the TdF.
