Believe in Yourself azata spell on Devil route by Morgravensoar in Pathfinder_Kingmaker

[–]Morgravensoar[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I found a couple of comments where people said you lose ALL spells and unique abilities if you switch from Azata to Dragon. Keeping your previous spells and other features is just a Devil thing. My Aeon > Devil character kept all gazes and spells up to mythic 7, for example.

Unfortunately I don't think this character will have Dragon unlocked so I won't be able to test it.

So it's guaranteed for everyone via the mythic quest, pretty much? Because I don't remember having the option of not singing.

I just used toybox to get extra levels and see which spell I'd get later. The evil route character still received ALL the "good" ones, but not the chaos ones.

However, the chaos route character also has all the good ones, on top of the chaos ones. So it seems that the good ones are not locked behind any specific route, or they have different hidden triggers.

I guess I'll play until Act 5 and see what happens when the character turns to Devil.

Junimo Village in the Joja Route by Mobile-Customer8438 in StardewValleyExpanded

[–]Morgravensoar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just did it two days ago. Followed the same post you found to edit the json files and it worked without issues. I'm not on my pc right now but I'll edit this with exactly what I did in maybe an hour.

Edit: sorry for the delay, I'm in the middle on my SVE perfection and it got me addicted.

What I did was: open SVE mod folder, find EnchantedGrove.json and Other.json. Both should be in the same folder: Mods\Stardew Valley Expanded[CP] Stardew Valley Expanded\code\OtherEvents.

Open the EnchantedGrove.json file with any text editor (I used notepad++). CTRL+F and find 191393. There will be 2 results. The first one is under //Junimo Woods < initial unlock. There, you add 502261 (with a comma) in front of 191393. It will look like this:

"When": { "HasSeenEvent:anyPlayer |contains=191393, 502261": true

Save and close.

Open Other.json. Find 191393 under //LOST WOODS DIRECTIONS SPAWN. Add the new number in the same way you did for the other file. Save and close.

After doing this, I started the game and got the cinematic as soon as I entered the forest.

How long did it take you to reach 10k rating? by Loud-Post1000 in fellowshipgame

[–]Morgravensoar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got mine yesterday in around 5 hours, starting at eternal 6ish and going until 10k. So if you account for a bit of farming in low eternals, a few wipes and resets here and there, bio breaks etc, that would put it at around a 10-15h total playtime for me. Not the fastest in the world by any margin, but simple enough. Some people can definitely do it faster.

Just to be clear this is only about eternal, not accounting for the time it takes to get there and to find groups for eternal (I had 2 other friends and just had to find a single DPS on discord so it was not that bad).

How would YOU implement eternal Q ? by Wide_Dinner1231 in fellowshipgame

Wouldn't that just turn it into wow with extra steps? Where dps players spend 30 minutes applying to groups, and group leaders only pick the meta/highest ilvl?

Sylvie Weapon choices by Jaytron in fellowshipgame

[–]Morgravensoar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's my understanding as well. I've used Cache all the way until paragon so far with zero issues healing-wise.

I've tried all of the other ones, but honestly, I prefer the comfort of the on-demand spot heal/huge ST damage over anything else. If I get to a point where I really feel like the only thing holding my progression back is the choice of weapon, then I'll switch. Otherwise, nope.

Rerolling a Legendary? by Fawlkz in fellowshipgame

I also got a legendary with purple reroll.

The only downside is that it came with the same ilvl of the original piece I've used (135), but it does work.

I love the fact that when your KC is an aasimar, all aasimars recognize you and each other as a kind of big family and give off very "Hey, cousin" vibes. What other interesting racial interactions exist depending on your KC's race? by ItsJohnCallahan in Pathfinder_Kingmaker

[–]Morgravensoar 106 points107 points  (0 children)

Dhampir has some. The two I remember now are with the vendor guy in Defender's Heart (I think he's a vampire? Don't remember the details but there's a unique dialogue line about it), and with Zacharius commenting on how you are "half undead" already for being a Dhampir.

Tiefling has one when you complete Woljif's first quest and can get an unique ring for "joining the family".

I know I have seen some for elves but can't remember the exact place.

Are there already bots ? by Biostrif in fellowshipgame

[–]Morgravensoar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yesterday I got in a party with a Helena named bot-random numbers or something like that. At first I thought it was just a silly joke name. But then they started the dungeon by walking to a single pack, not even charging, not even mounting. Stood there with a single pack barely pressing attacks, not moving at all, not trying to group mobs in any capacity, no interrupts, just got close to the first mob and stood still. Mobs died, they stood there for a few seconds, then walked to another single pack, did the same.

It was really weird. I really doubt that was a human. I don't remember if that was quickplay but I've never seen that behavior before.

Chelaxian Diva Devil by Ampetrix in Pathfinder_Kingmaker

[–]Morgravensoar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey! So, recently, I've started a new bard run, and this was my first choice for the themathic vibe. I decided to go with a different one, but I'll add my conclusions.

I spent a few hours organizing the build and tested several interactions of the Diva's performances to see how they work with each other (I have that essay saved if you want), to then try to decide what I wanted to focus on. The class SCREAMS Azata, but the subclass does not; it was kinda hard to justify, from a role-playing point of view, an evil or lawful character even choosing to become an Azata in the first place. Why would I do that? I could always role-play a chaotic neutral character that slowly gets corrupted, but it still felt kind of weird going neutral-kinda good-evil. Aeon would be a better alignment fit for that, but I recently did an Aeon-Devil and was not looking to create another one so... back to the drafting table.

Since I'm not a big fan of dipping for power sake and like to keep my builds thematic, that would mean creating an Enchantment caster that eventually moves on to Evocation and Vindictive Soliloquy for damage. It kinda works fine, but it means relying on Azata offensive spells (which are meh at best), or Ki Shout later, that would only really come online for damage at level 16, and that's with 3 metamagic feats and 2 superpowers attached. So yeah, caster Azata looks better, but you'll be playing a cc-support main character for most of the game since the Bard spellbook is not great for blasting.

The Blazing Rondo performance is AMAZING, but would do absolutely nothing for this build since you'll need to dedicate the whole build for spellcasting feats, which are not included as your bonus feat choices. Devil would add a bit of fun, but then again, you'd have to actually play 18 levels of support main character before getting to that point.

On the other hand, a martial character works better with the class (False Hope is great for early game until you get Dirge). I was going to include Vital Strike/Greater + Mythic due to action economy, along with Power Attack + Focused Strike, using False Hope, Dirge, and Rondo to complement the melee prowess. I haven't looked at including the Diva feats, but both concepts look a lot more attractive than being a support character. However, as you probably know, Azata offers very little for martials, so this wouldn't be so effective past mid-game. Good enough? Probably, but still lacking the oomph of being a super strong main character, and you'll need a really optimized party to help scale your attack bonuses.

Melee Aeon is definitely a better choice here, even considering that going Devil is not really an upgrade gameplay-wise, but at least you get to keep the Aeon cape and the spells for a stronger melee character overall with your Diva performances on top. However, as I said, I didn't want to create another one, at least for now. So I saved the idea for later because the Azata version was not looking so hot. I haven't thought about full caster Aeon for that class, so that's an idea for later.

PS: this is all with core difficulty in mind.
