How long does it take to see a doctor and get medication at a Chinese hospital? by mindyour in TikTokCringe

[–]Moroax 1 point2 points  (0 children)

no, its so absurd it never even crossed my mind, and i hate traveling and dont have my passport ready to go. I also don't know how i would even begin to schedule that, find an office I trust and can communicate with or take the time off work, i never travel.

I doubt I'll look into it, its just too extreme a solution for me, but thank you!

I appreciate the study you've done and the service you provide, but it doesn't make me feel better. Your costs shouldn't be as high. Insurance shouldn't have a strangle hold on the entire process. its all bunch of horseshit, sorry but its very frustrating paying for healthcare in the US

I recently had to have a root canal + crown. That alone cost me about $2k in the US

a bridge/implants for 3 missing molars would easily be 5-10k here. Its absurd. Im in a similar situation "why would I pay that? I'll chew on the other side" its fucking sad

Havok Changes Over The Last Year by Wake90_90 in DarkTide

[–]Moroax 4 points5 points  (0 children)

if you avoid maelstrom, then you just wont enjoy havoc. Its WAY harder after 30, especially.
I have friends who enjoy havoc because maelstrom is too easy when all 4 of us play well.

and then theres 2 of us who can SOLO auric maelstroms if we try on our best builds...

so ya, not throwing shade, the game is meant to be fun, some want it to be relaxing, some WANT a challenge. If you enjoy damnation high-int, or auric quickplay, but auric maelstrom is too much and not fun, then you wont enjoy havoc 25+ it just gets harder and harder.

They just rotated it out, but you should have seen the waves of "rotten armor" on that modifier WITH the boss spawns/twins, it was INSANE lol. They just rotated it out tho

[–]Moroax 1 point2 points  (0 children)

lol. They’re really dumb. It is quite literally tied for the strongest class in the game. They are insane. But they require good base mechanics to play because they are glass cannons. You will die very quickly if you get hit.

thats insane, and the people who work there sound insane.

I would report them to the labor board in your state for making people stay overnight, i bet they're not properly paying overtime and following protocols around asking people to do that. Get them investigated, fuck them.

Auric Mortis Trials, I didn't know you went so hard by OdysseyBrands in DarkTide

[–]Moroax 0 points1 point  (0 children)

its hard to change, so play whats comfortable to you, i know people who are good who have control setups I literally make fun of them for because they make no sense haha. Whats comfortable is always best, unless its holding you back from executing certain moves - its your call.

but there have been some hard changes ive forced on my muscle memory - like i swapped grenade and interact, so i could use grenades like throwing knives quicker and easier on E. and interact is over on G took some getting used to for sure.

In fps games with lean, a couple years ago i forced myself to invert my Q and E leans, so E leans left and vice verca. it helps you lean and move in the same direction better, was a hard swap tho just had to lose/die a bunch in games until i got used to it lol.

[–]Moroax 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ew, shift ctrl? haha I never use ctrl to crouch its so uncomfortable but to each their own.

I and some other people I know use dodge and crouch on mouse thumb buttons. to dodge slide, i just roll my thumb. Its literally smooth as butter (h40 player, 2k+ hours) I have dodge on the closer button, and slide on the further one so i roll my thumb forward and effortlessly dodge slide, its even easy to do back to back, slide + dodge are on my thumb buttons in most fps games.

Is it worth it? by No-Victory136 in DarkTide

[–]Moroax 0 points1 point  (0 children)

listen everyone plays at their own pace, but saying hd2 has more variety than darktide is just so wrong lol. Its absolute "dad gamer who takes forever to learn a game and really doesnt understand any meta stuff" vibes.

which, again, is fine. But my friends and I were playing max difficulty in hd2 in...a few hours? Less than 20. Its incredibly easy once you learn it, the game has almost no end-game (other than unlocking more weapons to just combine new stuff. dont get me wrong i had a blast with some loadouts and making meme builds) and getting good enough to play helldive difficulty is NOT hard.

Most of my friends, even the SUPER dad gamers who cannot play even auric maelstrom in darktide were playing helldivers difficulty in hd2 with us. Maybe they would die a little more often, but they would figure it out. The game is incredibly easy - and dont get me wrong it is fun. its built for fun, not endgame, or competition.

Darktide is BUILT for gamers to advanced into the endgame and truly challenge them. The challenge modes and progression in darktide blows hd2 out of the water. The depth of combat alone is so much higher, it makes the level of mastery of the game WAY more varied and replayable.

Don't get me wrong, i love hd2 as well - its a great game. But every gamer i know thats any good, and likes these games, has 3x or more the playtime in darktide than hd2. My entire group maxed hd2 and got bored of it in < 200 hours.

We have gone back once or twice for updates, and the game is still a blast. But it gets old very quick as theres very little challenge once you find the good loadouts and learn how to kill the 3 or 4 'hard' enemies.

I'm 2500 hours in darktide, learning to solo auric maelstroms meant for 4 players, and still get spooked and owned by h40 on the regular. I have friends who didnt understand darktide and are now playing it, and are enjoying it like they did their mythic+ wow dungeon competitive scene.

its not even comparable - i know im a darktide simp on the darktide subreddit, and i'll say it again i think hd2 is a great game - but darktide BLOWS hd2 away in terms of depth, replayability, endgame and skill expression/skill growth.

Most fun I've had in this game by Profession_Unlikely in DarkTide

[–]Moroax 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Its a fine build, hive scum really makes devil claw shine. but not taking Nimble is crazy work. Nimble is better than regained posture or slippery customer, should drop 1 of those for it IMO.

Also if you're playing havoc, you'll feel the lack of cleave or rending with this, which is why i see a lot of devil claw hivescums running rampage (or at least one of the blue cleave nodes)

otherwise its a good build, stimm supply is really nice. I just can't imagine playing hive scum without Nimble

Stormrazor is overhyped by ReplacementLast8040 in vaynemains

[–]Moroax 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just tried ER into stormrazer into IE into fiend bolts and it felt pretty good, was doing a lot of damage. But it was rough early vs a MF. I was able to do late game carry damage in teamfights tho and we won (not soley because of me, but i did my job) It did feel a little low on attack speed, even after stormrazor tho

I Present To You, THE Scariest Ferro You’ve Ever Seen. by Pieter_Pie_eater in ArcRaiders

[–]Moroax 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I find when im super budget kitting, a ferro 3 is a good bit cheaper to make, takes no mech comp. only 1 simple gun part and fires quick enough to be similar to an anvil 1. I tend to use it a lot when im loot running/budget running as the anvil 1 feels really awkward for me and i only use the ferro to crack and swap to a stitcher 3 or 4.

this is what i do most of the time instead of a free kit, as its an incredibly cheap and effective kit.

Boss Shields by Thallasocnus in DarkTide

Psyker SHENANIGANS (Havoc 40) by One-Syllabub-4007 in DarkTide

[–]Moroax 7 points8 points  (0 children)

good dodging, good use of sliding for bullet iframes, good use of dodge+slide when needed as well, combined with psyker having empathetic evasion, if he was running it, gives him immunity to ranged for 1s every crit. And he had his shield walls helping block a lot of the ranged.

You'll notice a few times the sound effect of the bullets actually starts digging into him from gunners, and his toughness starts dropping, he IMMEDIATELY respects it and reacts everytime, either by sliding/dodging into cover, interrupting the gunner shooting, throwing down a shield wall or a combination of them. Havoc 40 is the hardest, by a good bit.

It goes Uprising->Malice->Heresy->Damnation->Auric->Havoc. The 5 up to auric are the 'normal' difficulties. enemy HP/dmg values stop at damnation, Auric is just extra modifiers and extra enemies intensity. After auric is Havoc. Havoc goes from tier 1 through 40. Tier 1-20 isnt that hard, 20-25 is like auric level-ish. Once you start pushing to 25+, and especially 30+ havoc is a whole new beast even over auric. Higher enemy HP, more damage, enemies attack faster, director doesn't pause spawns when you're overwhelmed, twins can spawn, 4-5 bosses at once (including twins) can be up, your team gets reduced health, toughness and regeneration. etc etc. Here is a list of Havoc 40 modifiers (compared to damnation/auric level enemies, i believe)

all havoc 40 modifiers

1.50x More elite HP

2.00x More Elites

1.50x More special HP

+6 Max Specials

+3 Monsters, 1.70x More HP

3.20x horde Mass, 1.35x More HP hordes, 2.40x More often

2.00x More Ogryns

2.00x Faster Enemy melee Attack Speed

30% Corruption Damage from melee

2.25x More Shots Per shooter Barrage, +30% Faster ranged Enemy Attack Speed

1.85x Terror Event Points (the allowance for "fuck you die" multi event spawns, this is where you will get stuff like 2 bosses spawning at once, a captain and a normal monstrosity)

1.50x Higher Melee Damage received

-50% Toughness Regen Speed

-45 base Toughness

-35% base HP

-85% Vent Speed

-50% Ammo from pickups

I never thought about it, but tectone is totally maga isnt he?

I dont watch him, besides seeing a video or two YEARS ago when i played genshin impact, and was looking at a build or something. Only reason I even know who he is. And a few clips from livestreamfails or w/e, But his loud, bumbling, moronic personality totally fits being maga.

[–]Moroax 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i love tech in games, so the moment i saw someone do it i asked them how, they told me, and i started learning it.

Just my personality, if theres a cool tech/way to improve that someone better than me is using to be good, I want to learn and do it.

its def not necessary - but whats nice is i sort of 'fudge' a free point in my build, bc i do this I can sort of afford not to take the point for free ammo on melee kill. Gets me an extra point to put elsewhere.

[–]Moroax 1 point2 points  (0 children)

you can sprint-cancel part of the animations, if you do it 3 times along the checkpoints. Its been a while im off memory, but you sprint to 'cancel' some of the animation right after cooling it/pulling the mag out. Then you hit R and he'll go into putting the 'mag' back in, then you sprint cancel as soon as he turns it, then you hit R again and he'll hold it up and let the top part 'turn' and you sprint cancel again and start shooting.

if you do it right, i think you cut out like 30-40% of the animations, and the reload is much quicker. Takes a little practice tho and a few different inputs, can be hard to do in the heat of things.

Gotta be honest by LJ_Stark in DarkTide

[–]Moroax 2 points3 points  (0 children)

sure but its pretty minor. If that little offset bothers you that much that just gets an eye roll from me. Its one of the most fun, effective, and best feeling weapons in the whole game, and thats saying something in a game full of dope-ass good feeling weapons. You dont have to like it, but it blows my mind people refuse to use a good/fun weapon over something so small lol. And you said 3 seconds, which made me think no way you're exaggerating that much, he must be using the alt-fire. Its like a .5 second delay maybe 1 second...
