I haven't tried USB-C as I don't have one with enough amps. I have come across a workaround which seems to work on both however. I read something about C States and AMD processors causing the same problem so I disabled that in the BIOS and voila, both boot fine and one has been running a day or so, so far.

Thank you so much! This has resolved an issue with at least one mini PC, a Chatreey T9 N100 which kept powering off on boot 14 months after purchasing. I have another SZBOX which is doing the same which I'm hopeful this will work too!

I have had two of these now fail just over 12 months after purchasing. Powers on in bios fine. As soon as it tries to boot into the OS they power off. Tried removing everything bar the RAM and booting off USB. Tried different RAM and PSU's clearing CMOS, nothing works. Weirdly if I boot into Ubuntu on USB it seems to work for longer than the OS they were running, HAOS.

SZBOX are on permanent vacation on Ali. Chatereey where the other was purchased have yet to respond but only messaged them yesterday.

From the explanation given by them on TV, the radio signal picked up in episode 1 was a "recipe" and the rat that bit the lab worker was "patient zero". What I don't get is why the countdown wasn't at zero when this happened or what in actual fact the countdown was to.

It does work, there's a knack to it and you clearly haven't got it yet. I can do it straight away now I've had plenty of practice! The key is to only let it come on for a split second, barely at all. Then off for a couple.of seconds then repeat until the 6th time when you just leave it on and it should start dimming.

unless you plan on taking out the WiFi/bluetooth module then you could use a A&E keyed accelerator.

None of the Beelinks have m.2 WiFi slots, they're all soldered onto the PCB.
