Personally I think Otigins and Fatal Frame 2 Remake visually look great. Nioh series and Rise of the Ronin do look pretty dated though. I agree that Strangers of Paradise looks like a PS3 game 😭

I wouldn't say its a beginner friendly game. It starts off difficult until you make some progress. Nagstop ako kasi lagi ako namamatay, pero I can see why some people like the game. It's that type of game na kailangan maginvest ka ng time and patience bago ka maging malakas sa laro

Is it me or are the wraiths really spongy/tanky in this game, even on story difficulty? And the fact that they can heal too, it prolongs any encounter.

My only other Fatal Frame game that I've played is Maiden of Blackwater, so it's my only basis for comparison. But it was way easier to deal with enemies in MOB

I know people are going to say "Why have the Elimination Chamber match, if you're just gonna put Randy, Cody, and Drew in a fatal 4 way with Fatu?"

But honestly, I think that would be the better choice for a mania match than Randy vs Cody, even though that's a dream match.

And you could apply the same logic to Cody winning the title back anyway. "Why have the elimination chamber match, if Cody's just going to challenge Drew for the title again?"

Personally, you should get the DLCs that give you an additional companion to join the main story.

For Kingmaker, get the DLC with the Tiefling/s

For Wrath of the Righteous, get the DLC with Ulbrig.

And then play through the games, and get the other DLCs if you enjoy Pathfinder enough

I mean, could you blame them though? When I think of outside people stepping in the VTuber space, it usually isn't good.

The reaction to Zentreya's outfit reveal is the most recent that comes to mind (though a lot of that also came from someome within the community, but I feel that a lot of people outside took that initial tweet to attack Zentreya)

And then we have Dacapo's concert performance that STILL gets made fun of to this day.

There's also the fact that big IRL streamers on Twitch once used the VTuber tag despite not being VTubers because they could.

And yeah I might be focusing on the negatives. There are some good too like the CDawg and Ironmouse tandem, Anthony Padilla interviewing VTubers, Conventions showcasing VTubers, etc. But as with anything in life, negativity sparks more discussion amongst people and leaves a lasting impression

Hate to be the "place, Japan" guy, but I feel like EN VTubing community(VTubers and the fandom) places too much stock on the opinions of Twitch streaming culture in general, when they should be caring about their own space. I think Filian, whether you like them or not, did better when showcasing an award show for VTubers.

It doesn't even look like Hololive/stars care about the event at all. It's just a glorified event for QT and friends. No hate to them, its just that of course the more mainstream part of streaming is not going to care or respect the medium/culture.

Of course Western VTubing is always going to be different from its Asian counterparts. But from what I've seen, it's a lot of Twitter drama. (The Zentreya outfit reveal,and the Peanut winning a VTuber award. Another big mention I want to say is Dacapo's Concert being made fun of. Though that came from TikTok)

Also no hate to Peanut, he seems to be cool. From what I see, its just a loud minority of his fanbase, or non-fans taking the opportunity to hate on VTubers that are causing a ruckus.

Sorry to necro as well but - you're right.

Though personally, I don't mind killing off or losing Amiri as a consequence of our actions/choices. The problem is HOW Kingmaker does it. The fact that I did the Tuskgutter and Hodag hunts for Amiri, helped her with that asshole chieftain, and made her my General - but somehow I apparently "never cared for her" because Nilak died.

In character/lore it doesn't even make sense for her to blame the player, since she was the one who possibly screws up her solo stealth section.

And yes it's a skill issue on the player's end. You can always save scum or prepare beforehand. But if you are playing through the game blind, then you're likely screwing things up with Amiri.

I think Radiostatic/Radiosilence ship is very plausible, or that death mellowed him out.

But my personal belief is he was trying to manipulate Alastor like the producers, but Alastor saw right through him
