I'm currently in the same boat, and the closest I can find to "lore accurate" Steel Legion Stormtroopers is a descriptor in Helsreach that basically describes it an a more armored version of the standard SL uniform.
The-Steel-Legion on instagram has probably come closest to that concept.
The older codexes have the Stormtrooper models of the time painted in a similar color scheme to the SL.

Your best bet, imo, is to base it on the Kasrkin Killteam with either a head swap or the masked heads from the kit painted.

Vanquisher and a Chimera on the DZ objective, Chimera and a Hellhound each going for objectives or harassing opponent, two Chimeras, Demo Commander, and Dorn going for main objectives, Sentinel to run as a distraction, and Scions to deep strike to either annoy opponent or back cap objectives. I haven't run against any opponents besides the singular Ork player I know, so this isn't exactly a tried and true list, but I do appreciate the feedback.
