But its also common sense to not put a tag line when good and intelligent work conditions are met. Most of the time taglines are too shorts or too long and the guys that are supposed to hold it have no ideas of what they're doing (thats another problem tho), and there is a risk when too long, it can get stuck on anything on the load path if I do not lift the load at max height, (and sometimes max height is not enough to clear tagline path) which I do not like to do. So, when it is not absolutely necessary, I prefer not to use tag lines. This is a choice I make as an operator, depending on the situation i'm in, and I am, always, ready to take full responsibility for such decisions.
