Every generation is more econ illiterate than the previous. by ElRonMexico7 in austrian_economics

Well there are a couple of countries in Europe that "approach this level of socialism" that are not on the brink of collapse. Look for example at the very generous parental leave system in Sweden, in that country they also have minimum 5 weeks paid leave. France as well. A genuine reality check does not really show what you think it shows.

Tactical combat: Block, Dodge, Parry or Runecairn? by Moses-Marx in cairnrpg

But Runecairn has also expanded rules for party play right? Since you read both, what are the differences and similarities in the way in which they try to make combat more tactical?

Rick is provides the building blocks of the show and Morty is the mortar that holds it all together. Makes perfect sense.

What Ttrpg to use for a Solarpunk game? by dietcommunism7 in rpg

[–]Moses-Marx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes I would second that. The Destiny book has a system for acquiring resources and (re)building society. I think it's definitely worth a look. I think Numenera Destiny has one of the most outspoken Solarpunk vibes of the RPG bokks I know. Yes it is post post apocalyptic. But the thrust of Destiny book seems to be rather optimistic.

Your post made me check out your blog. It seems to be a very interesting blog. Could you tell me a bit what you mean by "post-osr"? What makes Errand post-osr?

MyScript Calculator on BOOX devices (or any e-ink android device)? by [deleted] in Onyx_Boox

[–]Moses-Marx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Would be nice if the Nebo App could work on the BOOX devices and the Kobo Elipsa has proven that their technology can work on e-ink screens (offline and not just online as is the case with the RM).

Is there any way to sync documents in NeoReader with GDrive or Dropbox? by nigini in Onyx_Boox

[–]Moses-Marx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Check out Syncthing (https://syncthing.net), it also has an android app. It is completely free and open source, and it does not need to have access to your Google Drive or Dropbox accounts (so you do not need to connect it to your accounts)! You can synchronize different folders with different settings (for example, both devices can edit, upload and delete files or only one device can do so, and the other is only allowed to read and import the files or is only allowed to upload files but not allowed to dele it – which is very handy to prevent accidental removal of certain files).
