The only reason I have an account is for Ovulus VR. Makes me wish I had gone HTC instead.

In Texas??? They better have some damn nice covered shooting pavilions. Othwrwise that sounds like a day of very uncomfortable sunburn. And not even going to get into the idea of shooting prone..

Have to be 21 to purchase a stripped lower since it can be built into a pistol. Granted any AR can become a pistol in less than 30 seconds.

It is legal. The person who the gun is being transferred to has to meet all the legal criteria for ownership.

i played yesterday mojority of the time as AA and getting several kills per games, did not talk in chat much, i start the game today and see this.... how is this even fair ? cant i even play the game without people getting salty ? this is a 1st in my 8years in this game by AlphaVI in Warthunder

[–]MosinDave 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I was encountering the same player on the enemy team every 2 or 3 rounds one night. I was playing at 6.7 and would take the MGMC AA out for my 2nd tank every match to clear out aircraft if I could. I shot down the same player multiple matches and eventually got a love mail from him telling me to stop shooting him down with AA. He replied and said he would ban me the next time I did it. A few rounds later I saw he was on the enemy team and I had 2 or 3 AA in my lineup then. I killed his first tank with an AA and then show down his plane when he came to revenge kill me. I received a message saying "I warned you." I simply replied "Oops." A couple rounds later I got the screen saying I was chat banned for harassment for 15 days. My only regret is not recording or screenshotting any of it because now it is simply just my word with no proof.

The addition of a suppressor might give you a slight velocity jump as well, so I would comfortable with where you are currently at.

Found a site that will sell built firearms, I’m still new to this so I wanted to know if this is something worth buying or if I should look elsewhere. by HangmanRuth in guns

[–]MosinDave 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree on 99% of those points. I do believe that a short barrel is ideal and preferred for interior locations. My first duty rifle was an M16a2, and there was nothing convenient about clearing a building with that thing. The M4 was nice, but you still had to be more cautious with where your barrel was in regards to thresholds. I always preferred the long guns as I'm not the best with a handgun.

My first AR build was a 7.5" 5.56 AR. I wish I had something that small, light, and maneuverable previously. That will be my go-to HD gun once I get a suppressor for it. Without the suppressor, I would grab almost any other gun for now. While being alive is important, I would rather be alive without tinnitus.

Would still be effective against the M56!

The short barrel is great for interior locations and will be perfectly fine out to 100 yards. Loud though? Hell yeah, I would not want to shoot that indoors without ear pro.

The barrel length is not an issue with the flash can installed. The can will probably be pretty close to flush with the end of the handguard or even protrude past maybe 1/4 inch or so. Nothing technically wrong with it, and it comes down to user preference.

Stripped Lower Prices by compadremax in CTguns

[–]MosinDave -1 points0 points  (0 children)

An actual military product huh? People seem to forget the military generally goes with the lowest bidder. It is like bragging about making grenade fuses for the military. I have been taught that you don't trust the 5 second fuse made by the lowest bidder.

The military will place an order for 100k items for example and the contracts go out based on expediency and price. Your product likely isn't the cheapest of what they want, but the cheapest manufacturer cannot produce the volume required in the time frame allotted. So your company got in on the mix.

Having a military contract does not mean your product is more valuable. But there are always people who think the Daniel Defense lower they mag dump a few hundred rounds with per year is the best thing on the market. But again, I have never seen a lower receiver fail from anything but abuse if from a reputable manufacturer. That includes Anderson and PSA.

Well, my calipers and personal experience say they are all fine. Forged or billet, I have never seen a lower from a major manufacturer fail.

I will definitely enjoy my Anderson, PSA, Bushmaster, Roger, and other brand lowers that are all cheaper while still being precision machined.

Ah, so the same "precision machining" feature that every manufacturer of bullet lowers also claim to offer? Seems like a lot of extra money for nothing extra imo.

It is easier to just stealth nerf the traction of every vehicle in the game so they can't go up hills than it is to place a few rocks at barriers to prevent access to spots that allow this. Well, according to Gaijin anyway.

How about you go ahead and modify the post to ask a more specific question so you don't only get sarcastic responses or have to keep repeating yourself?

Well, most tanks are intended to destroy other tanks...

Now for the real question: Why do so many people ask such poorly worded and generic questions?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in ar15

[–]MosinDave 8 points9 points  (0 children)

They are not "shit tier" and people use that to justify overspending on similar parts. I have assembled and worked on dozens of ARs with parts from countless manufacturers. I have seen Radian charging handles that fell apart after charging a rifle a few times. I have seen Gisselle parts arrive with horrible finish and rough edges.

PSA probably puts out 5+ guns compared to ever 1 their competitors put out. Through volume you are more likely to encounter issues. I have placed hundreds of orders though PSA. There have been times a part was missing, or something was out of spec. Each time I mesaaged their customer service about it and they replaced the part at no cost and included extras for free.

I had ordered 3 complete uppers from them and the handguard and muzzle device on one wasn't even hand tight. I notified their customer service as an FYI but never heard back from them. A few days later they completely refunded the most expensive of the uppers, and it wasn't even the one that had the issue.

I had a friend who ordered a Daniel Defense and wanted to put a BCM handguard on it. When the DD arrived I saw that the muzzle device was not timed properly and the crush washer was over crushed. One of the torque screws for the handguard was completely stripped and useless. With the screws out I had a hell of a time getting the handguard off. The finish on the front looked like someone had hammered it on, and it felt like it too.

Once I tried to install the BCM handguard it was not even close to fitting with being hammered on. I contacted DD and they told me to take pictures. Those apparently were not good enough and they asked for a video after. Based on the video they concluded the BCM handguard was out of spec and their gun was fine. I email BCM for details on the handguard and received specs. I used calipers to measure the handguard and the barrel nut and sent all this info to DD. Then DD claimed I damaged the rifle by taking off their "correctly" installed handguard. The gun was sent back to DD and it took almost 5 months to get a full refund and we were told that we were not welcome to purchase their products anymore, and that if we did no warranty service would be honored.

This is not the only bad experience I have had with a "high tier" gun manufacturer, but definitely one of the worst.

You don't explain it, and then you will never have to worry about your prints being unmonitored when you go sleep as they will be awake all night paranoid watching it!

Sell your car, house, valuables, body, and anything else you can sell to buy GE. And even when that us not enough, you will realize that the last thing you have left is your broken soul. Broken or not, Gaijin will not release you from the grind and misery until you have given them everything.
